The Owner purchased this cabin in 2011
One of the reasons we decided to buy this property was because of the wonderful privacy and extraordinary views.
River fishing is available in town on the San Juan River. The quality waters of the San Juan below Navajo Lake is world renowned for the incredible trout fly fishing. Wolf Creek Ski area boasts the most snow in Colorado, with an average of over 600 inches per year!
The Wolf Creek Ski Area is about 20 miles away and the main roads are always kept clean. This ski area gets more snow than any other ski area in Colorado, on average.

Jason and Juliette are some of the niceSt people you could ever do business with. We had some issues with the 4 wheel drive in our truck. They graciously allowed us to use one of their pickups for the entire 4 day stay. Without that generosity we would have been stuck in the driveway.
As far as the cabin goes, it was absolutely the perfect romantic getaway. The wood stove cackling as you go to sleep in a quaint little log cabin made the entire experience. The views are also beyond amazing. It snowed almost 3 feet during the 4 days we were there. It made it truly a winter wonderland.
My Wife and I wanted a peaceful trip to the Mountains and that is exactly what we got. Jason and Juliette were extremely hospitable. Upon arrival they give you recommendations of where to go to eat and where not to. The first day we were there we went to use the refrigerator and it didn't seem like it was working very well so we let them know. Jason immediately came over to check it out. He provided us with coolers until he was able to get a replacement fridge (which he got the same day). The property is beautiful and Jason made sure that their driveway was plowed every day that they had a big storm which in our case was every day. The best part is that they are very dog friendly. We brought our dog and because they live on a secluded road we were able to just let our dog run free. We highly recommend staying here and will probably make a return trip.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. I'm very picky about cleanliness and this cabin exceeded my expectations. The wood burning stove added a touch of coziness. The owners were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The property is located on a ranch but is only within a couple of minutes into town where you can shop, dine, and relax in the Pagosa Hot Springs. We will definitely return.
Absolutely loved our stay!! Second time to stay at Red Paws and we will be back!
Our stay at Red Paws Ranch was really wonderful. The location is very convenient, as it is only a few minutes to downtown Pagosa and the hot springs. When Juliette found out we were really into the hot springs she actually gave us a admit one free pass that she had to one of them. The view from the property is beautiful, and the cabin is cozy and nice, but not cramped at all. We even managed to catch the first real snow of the year up at Wolf Creek, overall a fantastic place in a beautiful spot run by great people. Thank you so much!
My wife and I wanted to spend some time together away in a peaceful mountain setting with close access to Pagosa Springs. We couldn't have found a better place. Jason and Juliette were excellent hosts and have a great property just south of Pagosa Springs. The guest cabin was everything we could ask for (peaceful, cozy, close to Pagosa Springs, and at a good price).
Thank you, Jason and Juliette for a wonderful stay!
