Perfect Spot

  • 5 of 5

I rented this cabin for 1 week as I was attending a car event nearby. I can't say enough about the cabin. It's easy to get to - convenient to Deals Gap and all that that entails. It's clean, comfortable and easily liveable. A HUGE plus was a large carport easily enough for 2 cars. The back deck overlooked "Hellbender" and as someone who enjoys the "sound" of motor sports, I found that you could hear the cars and bikes coming and going. Shut a window and that sound is gone.

The only thing I regret is only booking one week. I could have happily spent a few more weeks at the Tip of the Dragon.

Tip of the Dragon Weekend

  • 4 of 5

The house and location were perfect for our weekend! We really enjoyed the house. If only Internet and cellular connections were available. If you are looking to get away from it all, this place is perfect for that. You can not beat the view in the morning or the evening this time of year. I highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway!

A Taste of Heaven!

  • 5 of 5

We visited this property in late October. The location was perfect for us because of the close proximity to the Tail of the Dragon. The private drive and driveway that winds up the side of the mountain is narrow and winding. We managed just fine because we followed the owner's suggestions. The view from the very large picture window and from the large deck was magnificent! I just couldn't stop snapping photos! The photo on the website doesn't do justice to the real thing! Deal's Gap area was going to close for the season at the beginning of November. We were glad we grabbed the last weekend! There weren't many dining options nearby. We should have taken more groceries. That was our fault because the owner had suggested that. The cabin was comfortable and basic. When owner said there was not cell phone service, he absolutely meant it! I couldn't even send or receive texts! There was a landline provided in the cabin. That was very much appreciated. I would do this all over again!

Absolutely Incredible View - Thank You!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you so much for allowing us to visit your beautiful home! We were blown away by the spectacular view. Your home is very comfortable and very nicely maintained. Everything was in it's place and very clean. We found ourselves saying "next we come here" ... We hope to visit in the fall when the leaves are changing. I can't imagine the view getting any better but I'll bet that is a sight to see. Thanks again!
