Pierce and I are excited as we gear up for all the upcoming festivities in Chattanooga! We purchased a duplex in May 2015 and after bringing it up to our standards we are now renting both spaces as a vacation rental. Our duplex is on the same street as the Walnut Street Walking Bridge! It is a half mile from the front door to this historic bridge which is the access to all our wonderful city has to offer! There are so many fun things about Chattanooga. We look forward to sharing the experience and the magic with everyone.
Outside magazine dubbed Chattanooga the “Best Town Ever” in 2011 and again in 2015, and for good reason! You have access to some of the nation’s top venues for rock climbing, road and mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, white-water rafting, hang gliding and more, all within a short drive from downtown. Chattanooga outdoors offers unique opportunities for even the most hardcore outdoor enthusiasts.
Within walking distance from our property, you can enjoy wonderful restaurants, local music and tours! We are a stone's throw from The Chattanooga Choo Choo, and walking distance from the Tennessee River parks, the Hunter Museum, and the Aquarium. So, whether you want to enjoy Sunday Brunch downtown, Winedown Wednesdays, Blue Grass Thursdays, see Rock City, visit Ruby Falls, hike, rock climb, kayak, canoe, or see incredible shows like Foreigner, Moody Blues, Eli Young Band, ZZ Top, Buddy Guy, Beau Sollier, and many other talented artist, Chattanooga is the place to see and do it all!
For the Baseball lovers, Chattanooga has its own home team, the Chattanooga Lookouts, a Double AA affiliate team for the Minnesota Twins. The team shares with the competition, a wonderful retro AT&T ball park that’ll take you back to the days when baseball was real fun, and fueled by love instead of money.
Then of course there is the Riverbend Festival. This is an internationally award winning 9 day music festival, with 5 stages with over 100 bands!
We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a family and much better than a hotel. Excellent location in town!
This place was perfect for our family. House has everything you need and the owners were
incredible. About a half mile walk to the walking bridge which takes you to the aquarium and downtown area. All the neighbors were super friendly and there is even a little park right around the corner which my little guy loved. It does sit on top of a pretty intense hill but that seems to be the norm in this town, everything is on a hill. Didn't bother me and helped me work off all the holiday food :) overall this place is a 10 out of 10 and I can't wait to go back. Chattanooga is an awesome town and this is a perfect home base for your adventures.
The apartment is lovely and had everything we needed. It's the perfect size for a few friends, a couple, or a family, and the location was perfect too. Our kids enjoyed having donuts at Julie Darling Donuts, which is just down the street. We walked across the pedestrian bridge to the aquarium and restaurants. Bebe is incredibly sweet and accomodating as well. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future!
This place is lovely and in a fantastic location, and Bebe is very sweet and accommodating. We were in town to visit with some of my old college friends and their families, and it was just a short drive down to Coolidge Park to meet them for a cookout (you could easily walk too, but my husband didn't want to tackle the hill with the stroller). Our kids loved going to Julie Darling donuts and walking across the pedestrian bridge to the aquarium. We will definitely consider staying here in the future and would recommend it to anyone visiting Chattanooga.
Everything about this duplex was great! There were 3 of us staying for 3 nights. My daughter and 2 year old granddaughter and myself stayed in the bottom duplex. This duplex is so close to everything you want to do! You will not be disappointed!! Absolutely would stay here again! Everything from inquiry to payment was very simple. No problems whatsoever. The duplex is very kid friendly too!! Pictures are very accurate!! Thank you Bebe!!
My wife and I attended a weekend conference at the Convention Center in downtown Chattanooga. This house was close enough (about 2 miles) to easily get back and forth to the Convention Center, yet have the comforts of home instead of just a hotel. The kitchen was tiny but had all that we needed. We were given access to the basement to do laundry also, so that was very helpful. The street was pretty quiet, and even though we were in the lower apartment with other guests in the upper one, it was not at all noisy, and we slept very well.
It's an older home, so it's not designed the same as a newer model and some spaces like the bathroom and kitchen are not as large as we are used to, but it's been very well kept and it was super clean, so we were quite comfortable there.
We didn't get to meet Bebe, but she was very friendly and helpful in the booking process and very detailed in the instructions given so that we really didn't have any trouble at all.
