About Sara Silva
We currently live in the area and often have family and friends come to visit. They always leave with plans to come back and enjoy the lake and the many outdoor activities that are available at our doorstep. Like many New Hampshire residents, we're "out-of -stater's" who grew up visiting the area for camping, hiking, biking, skiing, swimming etc. As we started to raise our family our vacations centered around "lake-living" and the sense of peace it always provides. We hope you'll feel the same.
Sara Silva purchased this Cottage in 2013
Why Sara Silva chose East Wakefield
This property is directly on Belleau Lake with it's fine fishing, boating, swimming and spectacular sunsets which can be seen right from the large deck overlooking the lake. Belleau Lake is a 290 acre private lake in the Lakes Region of NH. Its typically a quiet lake with average water craft traffic during peak seasons and weekends, and very little traffic during the week and off season. It is one of the more peaceful lakes in the area which is one of the reasons that we chose it.
What makes this Cottage unique
This cottage has been renovated from top to bottom. It's neat and clean and ready for you to come in and make it "home". It is located in East Wakefield and is convenient to Wolfeboro, Conway, North Conway, The Outlets at Settlers Green, Sanford, ME and just over an hour to the White Mountains. During fall foliage and the many fall fairs in the area you can experience what its like to live in New Hampshire among the beauty of the hills and mountains. Take a ride up Rt 153 to Conway during any season and you'll see beautiful scenery and maybe some wildlife. The Cottage is also located just off of Corridor 19 for snowmobiling. The Seven Lakes Snowmobile Club grooms many miles of trails on the NH trail system and from the Cottage you can get to just about anywhere in the state, depending on the amount of snow. In the summer and fall those trails are available to mountain bikers and hikers and also shared by a variety of wildlife. King Pine Ski Area is also located about 15 miles from the Cottage and has a wide variety of outdoor activities during the winter months.

What a beautiful cottage. Loved our stay. Although it was too short.
Thank you for coming, Maria! We hope you'll come back when you can stay longer!
An Amazing Property with Stunning Scenery!
Overall an excellent experience, beautiful house, and location! Sara has really made every effort to make sure you feel at home and welcomed as a guest. From easy, quick communication to welcoming you at the house which is perfectly set-up for your arrival. The home has everything we needed for our stay, wifi, firewood, a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful lake view, and serenity. Would highly recommend and am itching to get back! Thanks Sara!
Thank you for coming, Jordan. We're happy to have made such a good impression. We work hard to get reviews like yours and appreciate that you are itching to get back. We'd love to have you!
Great house in a beautiful location!
Sara was very responsive and super nice. The House was perfect for 2 couples. We explored the frozen lake, enjoyed the fire place and spend time in North Conway shopping and snow shoeing.
Thank you for coming! We're so glad you got to have some winter fun! You might want to check out the other seasons here on Belleau Lake. It's always beautiful and we'd love to have you!
Perfect weekend away with my little one!
My 3 year old and I had a great weekend getaway. The house was so child friendly, and beautiful. It had everything we needed. It was just what we needed a relaxing, cozy getaway. It easily could have held another 4 people as well.
The only downside was how icy the weather was, which comes with the territory of NH in the winter! It definitely didn’t stop us from having a great time though.
Sara was a great host and responded quickly to all my questions.
I plan on making another trip in the summer to really enjoy the lake! 🛶
Thank you for coming. We're so glad that you found the cottage to be comfortable despite the weather.
Summer-time is a whole different story!
What an absolutely perfect place to stay! Sara is so kind and easy to communicate with. The house is so well kept and incredibly comfortable and inviting. We happen to stay during a "cold snap" and the fireplaces kept us nice and warm :) We'll definitely be back. Thank you Sara!!
You are most welcome! It makes us feel good to know you were happy and comfortable. Come on back and stay longer!
This is one of the snowiest areas in the State - when we get snow. The cottage has direct access to Corridor 19 which connects to most of the groomed trails throughout the State; Seven Lakes Snowmobile Club is the local club here. As the lakes and ponds freeze access to other parts of the State become available and access to the Maine trail system is also available. There are plenty of destinations to head towards; restaurants, Wolfeboro, NH, Poor Boys Pub, Castle in the Clouds etc. There's a network of clubs that groom all of the major corridors and side trails all the way up to the US border - snow conditions and property owner permissions are a factor. All clubs require that snowmobilers abide by all of the rules especially staying on the trails. We've found that most corridors aren't open unti there is ample snow to groom, so check with us for conditions. Here's a NH map of the corridor system with many of the signs and legends; https://www.nhstateparks.org/uploads/pdf/NH_Snowmobile-Corridor_Map.pdf One can also check out the NH Parks & Recreation's website for conditions and trail etiquette at; https://www.nhstateparks.org/about-us/Trails/ Hope to see you soon!! Additional information about rental rates
A one month rental is for a total of any four consecutive weeks. We've chosen the the lowest level of insurance offered because this is a new home with new systems and appliances. Rather than ask for a security deposit, which would be added to the rental cost, taxed, and then refunded, this provides the best low cost, less headache option for both parties. Also, the Governor of the State of NH, requires 9% on all vacation rentals to balance his budget!! He thanks you very much for you support!!
