We had an awesome stay at your cabin last weekend.
The kids did not want to leave!
The kids had a great time, as I took them out on the paddle boat several
times. We tried fishing from the dock. I got several strikes, but didn't
We went to Paws n' Claws and had a great time.
I slept in the loft the second night. With all the windows and ceiling

Thanks for the accommodations for a great weekend!
Upon arrival, the house was very clean! The house was well stocked with a dollhouse, toys, books, coloring books/crayons, movies and puzzles. Our girls (ages 3 1/2 and 2) loved the dollhouse and spent their every second of downtime playing in the loft. The brand new appliances were a nice surprise, as well as the Keurig coffee maker. Newly made beds with linens awaited us, as well as towels in the bathrooms. View of the lake was beautiful and relaxing. Perfect mini vacation for our family. We would definitely recommend this home to all ages. The owner Eric is very nice and easily reachable. Coming back next year!!!
First impression: The cabin was beautiful, next to the lake, and nestled between the trees. When stopping at the main office for parking, the staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful in getting my group situated and settled in.
The cabin: Parking was plentiful (we had several cars and there was plenty of parking for everybody). The kitchen was pretty standard, as was the dining and living area. Plenty of windows and natural light were great. Waking up next to a misty lake during the middle of the leaf-changing season is perfectly relaxing.
The cabin, part 2: There was also plenty of space to spread out, between the bedrooms, basement den, and living room. Even with the full crew of 8, who got together for a weekend of board games and catching up, we never felt too crowded.
The downside: With renting an entire house, it's always a bit of a crapshoot with what will be included and what you'll need to bring. I can understand certain things - if sugar isn't included or there's no salt or pepper, I get that. However, we were disappointed to find that there were no trash bags (outside of what was already in the bin), no cleaning supplies, no extra toilet paper, and no extra paper towels. Of all the things that could go wrong with a trip, it was pretty minor, but it was rather annoying to have to deal with after packing, driving, and getting settled in and I feel it worth dropping to a 4-star rating.
Overall: For the price, location, and size of the house - it's impossible not to recommend this to anybody looking to get away for a trip to the Poconos region... just be sure to bring your own paper towels and toilet paper.
Great, relaxing family vacation. The lake was great for the kids. It was like our own private lake. The house was in a great location and was peaceful and private.
The house was absolutely amazing. It was spacious, comfortable, and had a very welcoming feel. The view of the lake from the deck was outstanding. It rained for most of the weekend so we did not have the opportunity to use the paddle boat or kayaks, but the view of the lake as the rain fell was gorgeous and the fireplace was warm and relaxing at night. The house was so great that the weather did not affect our weekend at all. The pictures and description of the house were great but the real thing was even better! A long weekend was too short! I would definitely rent the property again and refer it to anyone who asks!
