Looking for a quiet, secluded, private couples retreat? This is ideal. It was exactly as Kathleen described. There was everything you would need for a weekend or a week. Enjoy sipping coffee by the dock or listening to the birds early Am with the sea breeze wafting through the trees. You are minutes from great Orleans restaurants or some of the best ice cream on the cape. If you are a fisherman or a beach goer you are on the door step of some of the best on Cape Cod. The owner is a wonderful lady, very knowledgeable of the area and most helpful. She goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Looking forward to next year already.
My boyfriend and I stayed in Kathleen's lovely cottage in Orleans. We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was clean, trendy, and very comfortable. Kathleen and her husband were such wonderful hosts and were always helpful to us. There is plenty to do on the cape from visiting the pristine beaches near by, or enjoying a delicious meal from one of the many restaurants. We absolutely loved our stay and we are looking forward to visiting again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay in Orleans. The apartment was as advertised and suited our needs perfectly. Kathleen was helpful with local knowledge and spared us some tourist traps. She also suggested some hikes for us. The setting is idyllic and we spent the first hour of each day reading and contemplating on a little patio overlooking the pond with the bay on the horizon. The air was crisp and the moments were peaceful. Each day we visited Nauset Beach after 4:30 to avoid the 20$ parking fee and to see the seals. We also enjoyed watching the local team play in the Cape Cod Summer Baseball League. If "way leads on to way," this is a place to which we would return.
It is exactly as advertised and we were very comfortable. It is located in a beautiful setting, with easy access to beaches, restaurants, shopping and the upper cape too. We had a great time and fabulous weather, made for a perfect time here! Kathleen was a perfect host! Thanks so much!
Kathleen's apartment was lovely. While cozy it did not lack in comfort. The apartment was very clean and a great place to come back to after a busy day of playing. The location was great and the apartment had sweet touches (the old style bedroom window and the sloped ceiling in the kitchen with all the cute cabinets). It was, also, so quiet and relaxing we slept in every day. Kathleen was very helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely go back.
My husband and I stayed at this beautiful, one bedroom, upstairs apartment for 4 days. It was like a lovely, fairy tale cottage nestled in the trees! The home is owned by Kathleen, who, with her sisters Kevin and Kris, were excellent hosts, ensuring we had everything needed to make our stay comfortable including bug spray, beach chairs, and a can opener! They were knowledgable about the area, nearby amenities, and had recommendations on places to eat, beaches to try, hikes to enjoy, and just great conversation in general! The salty breeze cooled the apartment down when we returned each evening, with the help of a fan. We never needed to use the air conditioner. The grounds were a delight to wander around, with incredible views of the small bay. The small kitchen had every tool we needed for simple meals. Wifi connection was helpful and there was a TV that we didn't make much use of as we were too busy enjoying the sights! The mid-Cape location made it convenient to go exploring and sightseeing in either direction. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the Cape. Highly recommend this apartment to others!
