Absolutely NO pets and NO smoking. We are NOT IN the Sandestin Resort - Sandestin is the next resort over from ours. That is why VRBO categorized us as being in the 'Sandestin Area.' Welcome to our Oasis! Hidden Dunes Gulfside 306 is a 1,610 square foot immaculate 3rd floor corner unit that offers spectacular gulf/beach and sunset views. This elegant unit is beautifully decorated with many upgrades. In a condo, your view is normally straight out to the beach. In this corner/end unit you have two views - straight out AND down the beach through amazing floor to ceiling windows on two of four walls in the living area! We are beach FRONT - no roads to cross. A few steps to the beach - maybe 2 minutes to walk from our front door to your FREE beach chair set up (2 chairs/1 umbrella - in season).

Hidden Dunes is a beach front resort that offers 4 swimming pools (one large one is private to our building only, and one is heated during the winter months), gas grills, lighted basketball courts, shuffle board, horse shoes, a fitness center with his/hers locker rooms, a professionally staffed tennis center (for the 5th year in a row, ranked a 'Top 50 Tennis Resort in the USA' by the publication 'Tennis Online') with 6 Rubico clay courts (fee charged - and they can help arrange matches if desired), a catch-and-release fishing lake, and 24/7 professionally staffed onsite security at the resort’s gated entrance. Hidden Dunes is less than 3 minutes away from fantastic outlet and retail shopping, awesome restaurants, and upscale grocery stores that provide a good variety of offerings (including organic!) - just like home! There are several great golf courses close by!

The property is beautifully landscaped and includes reflecting pools with flowing fountains and scenic walking trails. During season, two chairs and an umbrella are provided to guests at no cost, and there’s a lakeside snack bar that cooks up casual eats (in the summer months).

It's impossible to be stressed at Hidden Dunes beachfront condo 306! The sounds of the waves gently rolling in, the sparkling aqua water and the warm sunshine reflecting off the white sand fill this luxurious vacation rental with a tranquil ambiance. The calming Gulf breezes can be heard from each room -whether it's the spacious master suite with gulf front balcony access or the northern bedrooms overlooking the lake and fountain. Each moment spent at Gulfside 306 is like a day in paradise.

An East Indies flair complimented by rich wood furnishings and terra cotta tile floors add an air of traveling abroad while the fully stocked kitchen allows entertaining friends to actually be entertaining! Plus, two elevators, plenty of parking and a private washer and dryer take away any inconveniences. Relaxing on the gorgeous balcony after a great day at the beach and a delicious dinner is simply serene.

Gulfside 306 has four flat screen TVs (living room TV is a 48” LED 'Smart' TV, a 40' LED 'Smart' TV in the Master Bedroom, and the other bedrooms have 32” LED TVs, and four BluRay DVD players. High Definition cable service is provided that includes several premium channels. Complimentary WIFI is provided throughout the resort, and the condo has its own private WIFI as well. There is also a Pack N Play and booster seat in the unit for our guests with small children.

We added a chaise lounge chair on the balcony for our guests to enjoy. We have very comfortable mattresses, and dust mite covers on all mattresses and pillows. We frequently professionally clean all comforters/bedspreads. A new washer and dryer were added August 2013. A new, large stainless refrigerator and a dishwasher were added in June 2016. The unit is meticulously kept with a 24 hour housekeeping guarantee - if you are not happy with housekeeping in the condo, the crew will come re-clean at no charge (we have never had a complaint).

Snowbirds are welcome! NOTE: The separate ice machine mentioned in the video DOES NOT WORK and will not be available to use. The refrigerator/freezer ice machine DOES work and is available to use.

About Carol Daley

We are from Texas, and fell in love with the Destin area and its world-class white sandy beaches when we visited as new parents several years ago. When we were looking for real estate to buy for our family, we fell in love with all the amazing amenities that Hidden Dunes provides! We particularly love the views from the condo balcony and the living room (you don't even have to go outside to enjoy them!). We also love the close proximity of great restaurants and amazing shopping (both outlet and retail) less than three minutes in either direction from the resort entrance. It takes about 1 minute to walk to the resort Fitness Center when we need to squeeze in a workout! And, because we have a child we love being able to be out on the balcony while still able to keep an eye on him inside the unit. It's perfection defined!

What makes this condo unique

The views from the inside of this end/corner unit condo are spectacular! You don't even have to go outside to enjoy the view down the beach. Most condos you see straight out to the ocean. Ours you can look straight out AND down the beautiful beach. It's awesome to have a glass of wine and watch the sun set from the living room! In the fall/winter/spring we enjoy leaving the doors open all day and night, to let the fresh air in! We also love that the Master bedroom has a door to the balcony. Most nights we choose to drift off to sleep hearing the sounds of the surf from our open balcony door.

At most times there are extra beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. available for guest use. These are kept in a closet in the condo. While their availability is not guaranteed, it is likely these will be available. We also provide dishwasher soap and gel in the kitchen, laundry detergent, pump soap at the sinks and large bar soap in the tubs at no extra cost to you. Usage/consumption of these items is at your own risk/you assume all liability.

What a beautiful condo with lots of room. We stayed with our 2 Beautiful daughters and their handsome husbands and 2 adorable ❤ Granddaughters and had plenty of room. The views are fantastic.

Relaxing and Gorgeous!

Carol is an excellent host! She made sure everything was perfect while we were there. Her home is absolutely gorgeous and so very relaxing. Cooking out and eating on the patio was so divine. Walking down the beach at night with a flashlight, hunting crabs, was the absolute highlight of our trip! Because of these things, we will stay here again instead of a hotel.

Perfect location, amenities, great view, and awesome owner!

This was our first time to stay in a condo for our annual Destin vacation. Carol's condo was not only perfect, she was an absolute pleasure to deal with! She accommodated my family not only by letting us book for 10 days in peak season, but by allowing us to check in early on arrival day! The condo was spacious and well stocked with everything one would find in their own home. Each bedroom having it's own separate bathroom was a huge plus for privacy. The views from the balcony were amazing and perfect for morning coffee, devotion, and bible reading and evenings watching the sunset. We just so happened to be here while Tropical Storm Cindy passed through, and we felt completely safe and Carol stayed in contact with us making sure we were safe and she also suggested things for us to do on rainy days. All in all, we had a wonderful experience with Carol and her Hidden Dunes condo! She stayed in touch with us throughout our stay making sure we were happy and all our wishes were granted. Already looking forward to next year.

I was so impressed with your positive attitude - making lemonade out of lemons, for sure! That's the cool thing about memory making - sometimes a rainy day can draw a family even closer together - working a puzzle around the big dining room table, watching a movie together, actually TALKING to one another (like the "good old days") - memory making is in the togetherness. :>) I am so glad you enjoyed the views from our condo and balcony. I always tell folks to bring binoculars for dolphin sightings, because they are fairly common from our vantage point. I hope you'll be back to stay with us again next year. Surely you'll have sunny days in 2018!

Comfortable accomodations on the inside and easy access to the outside.

This Hidden Dunes Condo was so nice for our family with kids to stay in for a week. The layout of the furniture, size of the dining room table and size of the bedrooms and 3 bathrooms made the living quarters easy to live in. The 4 television set-ups and channels were great. The kitchen was stocked with a great selection of dishes, glasses, pans and utensils that you needed to prepare meals, and you were provided with some nice extras like soaps, etc.! The king beds were very comfortable and must have been new! It was a quiet unit and the view from the large balcony was gorgeous!!!!! Being on the third floor was such a convenience because you could easily run down the stairs, however, we never had to wait long for the elevator! The pool area was very nice. We were so impressed by the cleanliness of the pool area, and speaking of cleanliness, the beach was kept so clean and litter free and we really appreciated the umbrella/chair staff. They were nice guys who were helpful, and upbeat and did a very polite job of enforcing beach rules, which are nice to have and appreciated by all. There was easy access to grocery stores and shopping. It was always easy to find a spot to park in the garage. And, of course the white sand beach was fantastic.

Our condo really is great for families, and we work hard to keep our kitchen fully stocked with just about anything you might need. :>) I am so glad you found our King beds comfortable! Resting on vacation is important, and we are always happy to hear that our guests love our beds! While they are not new, I am so glad they felt that way! :>) I have passed your praises to our chair guys, who do work awfully hard for our resort guests. I'm so glad you had an easy time with parking. While peak season parking can be challenging at times (at ALL resorts, not just ours), it's so much a factor of how many cars people arrive in - some weeks we just have more than others. We do have HOA rules in place to try to ensure adequate parking for everyone. I, too, love being on the third floor - perfect vantage for dolphin spotting and easy/fast access to our pool deck below (1st floor) and beach access (via pool deck). I hope you'll come and stay with us again - we love our repeat guests. :>)

Dated needs a facelift

The apartment is dated and some of the accent pieces smell. Beds were uncomfortable, parking was inadequate, sometimes walking a quarter mile, elevators were unfortunately hard to get on a consistent basis. Normally a wait of five minutes but on checkin and checkout day it could be ten minutes. There were not enough carts for luggage and they are missing on checkin and checkout days. The apartment is situated by pool and the view of the beach is obstructed by a wall and on the other side three tall palm trees. The chaise on the patio needs new cushions.

Perfect condo; perfect beach; couldn't have been better!

Beautifully decorated condo was perfect for three couples to gather and enjoy their long time friendship. There was plenty of comfortable seating for extended conversation. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. Everything was sparkling clean and well-cared for. We loved the corner unit overlooking the pool and the beach. The three bedroom/three bath condo arrangement offered both privacy and togetherness. The owner is a pleasure to work with--responsive, helpful, and organized. Her attention to detail and communication ensured that we guests encountered no surprises and felt well-cared for. And, expect to find a gorgeous beach--wide, clean, white sand and emerald green water. All in all, a perfect place and a perfect week.

I agree, our condo is great for gatherings like yours. Because the windows are floor-to-ceiling, you never feel cramped/claustrophobic, even with 8 guests (our maximum). We are located about 20 minutes from the town of Seaside, which is a fun day trip. Some people enjoying driving to Pensacola (approx 80 minutes away) to see the Navy's Blue Angels practice. While we are not in Sandestin Resort, it is right next door to us, so dining/entertaining at Baytowne Wharf, Grand Boulevard are within 5 minutes' drive.
