Sanctuary Inn Loft was very good
We were there for two months. The host (Kevin) was always available by text, and the one or two minor issues we had he immediately resolved to our satisfaction. All major appliances incl HVAC worked without problem. Ample dishes, pots, pans, paper products cleaning products were there upon arrival. The oven was a foreign make and it took some getting used to the prompts at first. It would have been helpful to have a users guide, but it worked fine. The space was very comfortable for two and the two occasions we had 2 over night guests it was spacious enough. Great tv cable package. Lastly it is located two blocks from Forsyth Park and we took advantage of that many, many times. The neighborhood was fine.
Stunning place. Late night neighbor’s kept waking us up for 2 nights. Wall could have more sound insulation. Other than that, I couldn’t give sanctuary place any rating other than excellent. Would stay there again in a heartbeat 💓
Thanks for the kind words Michelle. Just wanted to mention that the walls are double insulated and noise is never a problem. It was New Years Eve and apparently the the guests next door rang in the new year with a bang. Apologies if their celebrating disturbed you. That said if I had known the guest were being too loud I would have ask them nicely to quiet down as we do have rules against excessive noise. Just a reminder than I am available anytime to make sure our guests have a great experience. Thanks again for staying and happy 2020.
Property is very nice. Everything needed cooking, etc. provided. Very clean and extremely beautiful. Parking is on the street but not a problem, never had an issue with parking. Is an outstanding location. Savannah is easy to navigate and this location makes it that much easier. We visited everything we wanted with no issues. No more than a few minutes away from anything really. Kevin was quick to response when I had a question. One drawback for those who like to take an afternoon nap is the absence to limit the amount of light into the building, but a sleep mask would alleviate this. My wife and I truly enjoyed our time spent here and would definitely stay here again. The shower pressure is awesome and helps to stimulate muscles tired or sore from sightseeing. We really enjoyed how everything was put together, the stained glass, the floors, and how it shows the old and the new. Bravo Zulu Kevin!
Truly a Sanctuary
A calm washes over you as soon as you enter. The light streaming through the stain glass is glorious. Like Savannah, it is an aging beauty. So glad that someone saved this wonderful space and gave it a new life.
Unique, Easy, and Affordable
Such a unique place to spend a few days for a holiday!! Pictures just can't do it justice. Everything was easy, from booking to check-out. Would definitely do it again!
This location, just off the southend of Forsyth Park has a lot of advantages. The first being the park itself: 10 acres of green-space lined with 200 year old, moss covered trees. 2 large playgrounds, tennis and basket ball courts and a large amphitheater with a cafe. The park serves as a center piece for downtown life and acts as a gateway to the historic squares that make up downtown. The farmers market is every Saturday and the park host many events throughout the year. Several local favorites on this end of the park too including the Sentient Bean Cafe and Brighter Day Grocery - 2 indispensable places for many downtown residents. A free shuttle to downtown proper is just a couple of blocks over on Bull St, the trolley stop is also super close.
