Hello my name is Nadiya Zitser and I am originally from Odessa Ukraine. I moved to the United States back in 2000 and immediately moved to Corpus Christi. It didn’t take much to convince me that the gulf coast was the place for me.
I worked very hard to learn and adapt to the American culture and the southern lifestyle that was to be my new beginning and permanent home. After a year or so I realized that I loved the people and communities in Corpus and found that a professional career in real estate was going to be my calling. After winning both “Rookie of the year and Salesperson of the Year” awards my first year, I was hooked.

Once you have crossed over the causeway bridge and are on North Padre Island, a new frame of mind takes over. Turn off the news. Forget about work. It always has been for me and my family….especially my son who is always dragging beach sand with him. And oh yes…….don’t forget your Hawaiann shirts and sandals. They’re mandatory!

It was a great place but needs some fixes.
1. Need more cover for the pull out beds in the living room.
2. The kitchen cabinets need repainting with a new updated color. The kitchen was great except for that. Love the bar stools and dinning table.
3. The master bed room could use a sitting chair and not so much the coffee table.
4. The master bed squeaks when you lay on it. It became a joke with the younger girls.
5. The hole above the sink in the master bath needs fixing. Don't know why the PCB pipe was exposed.
6. Need towel racks in the master bath. You could see where there use to be one.The bracket was still on the wall. Maybe a hanger where one can hang their clothes.
7. Love the fixtures in the bath. Shower curtain and rod (rusted)could be changed more often and updated. Pocket door handle needs to be replaced and door hard to close.
8. More information on how to get to the pool. It seemed that it was fenced off due to fixing the roof which was OK to us. We went to the beach.
9. Parking lot had trash all over it when we arrived but picked up the next morning.
10. There is a sign post that was cut downs but not removed and my niece cut her foot on it. Had to go to Dr. to get medicine. That needs to be taken care of. When we checked out we informed them of this.
There are paintings in the closets and two night stands. The paintings(nice paintings) need to be put on the walls and the night stands could be put in the living room between the two chairs and one on the end of the futon for more space to put your drinks while watching TV. Need wi-fi!!!
Loved the washer and dryer.
It seems that there are a lot of things wrong but really these are easy fixes.
The location of this property was great for us. It was only a few minutes away from our family and the beach. The people on the property were very friendly and nice. The girls loved the dogs and loved to see the cats in the windows.
I would stay at this place again and please do not stay away from this property because of these little things. I do believe that the property owner will make these changes. It is a great place. Don't be scared off by the looks of the outside of the property.
You can see the water park out your backdoor. We were at the beach most of the time so never got to sit out on the back deck.
Everyone had a great time. I would stay here again and if I can make it back again in July I will!
We arrived on a Friday afternoon, the exterior of the building is dated but the interior of the unit we stayed in was perfect! Our family participated in the Beach to Bay relay marathon over the weekend of our stay. The location could not have been more convenient for our runners! We had 4 adults and 2 kids, and we had plenty of room. Additionally, we brought extra towels and blankets.
Overall, we loved it and will definitely stay there again
Property was nothing like the photos or description posted by the owner. Front door and rear door were dirty. Door jam and the locks had been changed multiple times leaving the doors very unsafe. Washer machine didn't work properly. Dryer had lint all inside which could have started a fire if I didn't clean it out. The bathrooms had damage to the walls from the missing towel racks. Mold and mildew in the master shower. Beds were very noisy. Ceiling fan in the master was dirty and only worked on one speed. Bath towels had stains all over them. The refrigerator door was missing the handle. Kitchen cabinet's were abused and one drawer was completely off. The cabinet under the sink didn't close properly someone put a trash bag to secure it closed. Microwave didn't have the turn table plate it was a regular dinner plate. There was old cooked food in one of the drawers. The light fixtures in the living room and dining room were not working but one bulb. The condo was all around dirty. The owner allows dogs but the area is not dog friendly; there are sand Spurs throughout the grass. After we checked out we looked on home away and it lists to speak to the owner about issues. We contacted her via email and waited 24+ hours for her response and she never responded this is why we are writing this review. We are sending photos that we took throughout the condo to homeaway and filing a formal complaint.
House was not clean. Forced too use a dirty, broken mop to wash floor twice before we could get the stickiness out. House provided six bath towels, two hand towels, four washcloths, two dish towels, and one dish cloth, which was an inadequate number for six people. Exterior doors and cupboard doors were dirty. One drawer face was completely off. The microwave was missing the turntable. Master bedroom sheets were old and the mattress was loud and very uncomfortable. Towel racks in both bathrooms were either off or missing leaving holes in walls. The light fixtures were missing bulbs. The house was in need of redecorating. The pictures in the ad for the home must have been done when the unit was new; they certainly were not current, The beach was not in walking distance as advised.
As we have grandsons playing junior hockey in the area, our plans for the next couple of years are to vacation in Corpus Christi. We certainly will not trust vacation rentals again.
We arrived early before check in and were allowed to drop off some of our stuff and go fishing that afternoon. Thanks we had a good day at the beach.
The place was clean and roomy. The floors are all tile so it was no big deal for cleaning up sand from the beach. We come to Texas at Christmas time to fish the national seashore on north Padre Island. This is one of the closest places to the seashore to stay.
We stayed two weeks and did some cooking at the condo. There was not a lot of cooking equipment and we had to buy a good frying pan. The dishwasher worked great and there was a huge dinning room with lots of room to sit down and talk about our days fishing.
I got there before my wife and saw that the linens on the bed were sort of balled up. I told my wife to bring a set from home because she would not be able to tolerate sheets like that. The bed was really squeaky but it slept all right. The bathrooms were clean and acceptable. The washer and dryer rocked.
All in all it was a nice place to stay. A few repairs could be made to the lighting and electrical systems and it would be great.
If I had one complaint it would be that the neighbors with dogs let them poop in the parking lot and don't clean up after them. We brought our dog and we are dog people but this was not right.
My wife and I would stay here again.
Okay, so the place at night seems a bit scary, but its just because its dark and there is construction next door. However, the place is really nice and when you open the door, they have really done a great job making it a place you want to stay.
The decor is really lovely. There is plenty of room. There are supplies like shampoo, conditioner and bodywash, soap for the washing machine and plenty of towels for the bathrooms.
There are a few worn places, but its the beach for goodness sake! I would totally stay here again.
