The pictures don't do this property justice. My daughter and I arrived by bicycle in some of the worst weather june on PEI could throw at us (45 degrees, 25mph winds, horizontal rains) and the last few miles by bike were quite trying (to say the least). We arrived from the west, and the last 4 miles or so was dirt/gravel road, so being on road bikes, this was frustrating to say the least... however, when we arrived, the house was warm, clean, welcoming and absolutely beautiful. Located just steps from the atlantic, we immediately felt at home. The owner left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy (thank you!) and the house manager (Arthur) was kind enough to bring us groceries so that I wouldn't have to ride back out in that miserable weather. Because of the weather, we were stuck indoors quite a bit, but a good selection of DVDs kept us in good spirits and with the weather slowly improving, we were able to explore the shoreline quite a bit. The adirondack chairs overlooking the ocean were my favorite spot to have a couple cups of coffee in the morning, and because we were there right around the solstice, we got to see both the north-west sunset and the north-east sunrise over the ocean, both absolutely stunning sights. Highly recommend... if we go back sometime, this will definitely be on our list to visit again.
