I, like many, can be extremely apprehensive about reserving on the internet and sending money to a completely unknown person. However, after a few calls and emails with Terry, I reserved a time and mailed her the complete amount as agreed. I was not and I am not disappointed in the least—Terry, bent over backwards to work with us! She was prompt at getting back to me and worked diligently to answer all questions and worked to resolve any doubts or problems I may have had. Her house is great! We had eight folks for Sat night Lobster/Clam dinner and her kitchen was perfect! We all shared the moment sitting around her kitchen table making family memories. It is out of the hustle and bustle of the beach scene but just +/- 10 minutes away from it. The pond the house is on is a pristine little pond, clear water and no motor boats. There is a canoe at the water’s edge which translates into a calming paddling experience. I recommend this lady to everyone! Her home is just what she presented it to be! A great place to get together with friends or family and enjoy their company!
Terry was wonderful! The property is beautiful and the house is unique! Great location!
We had great day trips from the house - hiking at World's End near Boston, exploring the Cape and bike trails, Ellisville Harbor State Park, kayaking in Buzzard's Bay, swimming at Scusset Beach, witnessing an amazing sunset at Sandy Neck, and of course, wandering Plymouth. In the evenings we were able to enjoy the quiet house on the pond - lots of cooking in the kitchen with dinners on the deck and sometimes relaxing in front of the TV. The house has fun and interesting decorations, and the owner is responsive to questions/comments.
This home was the perfect location for a MA vacation. We were close to Cape Cod, Boston and loved Plymouth Harbor! The house was very comfortable for our family of 5. We loved the pond and we fished at least five days of our stay and even used the canoe. The house had plenty of brochures for things to do and even suggestions from the owner. Great week and we would highly recommend this home!
We loved our stay in Plymouth, and we will remember this home for its beautiful setting on a picturesque New England pond. The home is comfortable and inviting, and has a very nice downstairs family room that allowed our family to interact in a way that we could never get from staying in a hotel. The location was perfect for day trips to Martha's Vineyard, Newport, Rhode Island, Salem, and central Boston. I recommend this home for anyone wanting to experience the beautiful New England countryside, yet remain convenient to interesting destinations.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this location in Plymouth. The house was very spacious and welcoming to our family. Our kids loved canoeing on the pond! The kitchen was huge, and we appreciated all of the extra’s that were provided by the owner. In the evenings, our family took great advantage of the huge collections of DVD’s that were provided. One of the biggest benefits of staying at this house was the location. During our week, we were able to visit the sites in Boston, Salem, Gloucester, along with enjoying different beaches throughout Cape Cod. The travel pamphlets and books that were provided by the owner made it very easy to navigate, and were helpful in our site seeing. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
