The main Bed & Breakfast house provides a tastefully decorated two bedroom suite with a library/t.v room, private bath, and an inviting living room offering our guests the comforts of home...and more. One bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. The house has hardwood floors throughout.

There you will find excellent theatres, art galleries and museums on both sides of the harbour.

Locally visit all the historic sights of Halifax, take a city tour, go deep sea fishing or whale watching. In the evening enjoy some of our many excellent restaurants or barbecue back at the Carriage House. Outdoor activities are but a few minutes away.

The wonderful woodland Shubie Park is two minutes away and offers many kilometers of prepared walking trails and a lake side supervised swim area. If you enjoy cycling, the Waverley road is a favorite of locals as it follows the lakes and wanders through a desirable residential section of Halifax County and the Knightswood is part of the route!
