No greeting on arrival

  • 3 of 5

We were impressed as we drove up how lovely the property was but as we entered the auberge there was no friendly greeting we were just asked for the name on the reservation and for a credit card , that was it also explained the rules. The room # 5 was nice but. It is only when we got into bed we realized we could feel every coil spring of the mattress it was not a very compfortable sleep for the quality of the inn we were very surprised about the bed. When we checked out we were not asked if we liked our stay and the reception clerk was the same one when we checked in not friendly at all no people skills she was a young girl with very large glasses. The only person that had some personality is a young man in the restaurant who told us it was his 3rd day working he was very friendly. He will be a great addition to this very unfriendly inn. The mattress really needs to be changed we really were happy to get home to our comfortable pillow top bed.
