Description

Algoma, Unorganized, North Part Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Hearst Air offers great fly-in hunting trips in the best moose hunting territory available. Choose from lakes or rivers where you and your group of hunters will be the only ones hunting. You can choose to hunt from an oupost camp with all the ameneties to keep you warm and comfortable during a fall hunt, or bring your own tent camp and hunting equipment and get dropped off on a small lake of your own. Either way, you will have the opportunity to hunt the mighty moose in prime areas...sure to help you to your moose hunting success.

Fishing

We would love the opportunity to share our backyard with you. From 50 to 400 miles, there is no limit to the wheres, hows and whens for your next fly-in fishing adventure.

All lakes are fly-in only, remote locations that offer amazing natural fisheries for you to enjoy. The walleye are healthy and plentiful, the pike are hungry and excitable. The perch are plump and you may even have a chance at some white fish, sturgeon and trout.

For those of you who wonâ??t settle for anything less than a 40 inch pike we have what it takes for you. There are 2 lakes and an amazing river location that never cease to amaze those trophy fishermen. Quantz, Napken and Pym Island. If itâ??s big you want, itâ??s big youâ??ll get.

Fly fishing is one of the most traditional and romantic (as romantic as a fisherman can get ) sport available. The best brouk trout fishing you can find is on the Sutton River. This river flows into the Hudson Bay and is home to both native and sea run trout. There are many ways to enjoy this truly wild adventure so make sure to ask us about the details. There is always a way to get the best of what you are looking for.

If youâ??re looking for a more un-conventional way to enjoy the north of Ontario, you might want ot consider chartering an aircraft for a custom vacation. Choose the waters, choose the length of stay, and get back to nature. Itâ??s really hard to beat the feeling of standing on a shoreline and listening to the roar of the airplaneâ??s engine as it flyâ??s further away from youâ?¦.leaving you alone with the elements. All you need is a map, give us a call and we can go over the possibilities.

The cabins are upright log structures. 2 seperate bedrooms with one set of bunks and one bed per room, these camps will comfortably sleep up to 8 people. We have had larger groups but you might want to make sure everyone really gets along, it could get a little crowded.$200 per person for Hillmer, Wanzatika, McLeister, Martison, Quantz, Napken and Sunshine lakes

$500 per person for Sutton river, Pym Island and Moose Hunts.Canoeing

There are endless possibilities for canoeing the north. Hudson Bay and James Bay lowlands are home to endless river systems that offer great scenery, wildlife viewing, canoeing and fishing. Kabinagagami, Kenogami, Albany, Attawapiskat, Missinaibi, Moose, Kwetabohagan, Ekwan, Drowning, Little Current, Winiskâ?¦ and many moreâ?¦

These rivers offer not only canoe trips but spectacular fishing for various species. Northern pike, walleye, white fish, sturgeon, perch and even some speckled trout and small mouth bass in some particular areas. The river also tend to produce more trophy fishing opportunities. They are rich in feed and perfect breeding habitat for large and strong fish.

Moose Hunting

Moose hunting in the remote parts of Northern Ontario allows you to truly be in the animalâ??s territory in itâ??s entirety. To have the ability to stalk, call, track and kill such a magnificent animal is quite an experience. These areas are unattainable through roads, rail or any other man made ways. You have the advantage of being in locations where moose have no fear of regular traffic. Most of our camps/lakes are only hunted once per year. A great way to make sure there are no other distractions before or after your hunt.- fishing and hunting licences are not included in the costs. They are all available at the base prior to your trip. We can get them ready in advance to help the morning go faster and get you on the plane to your destination.

- all theses costs are quoted in Canadian funds. We accept US funds at a fair exchange rate but you might want to make sure you have some Canadian currency for travelling along the way (gas stations, restaurants and hotels) as many other businesses will not give you a good exchange rate.

- the balance of your trip is payable prior to your departure with cash, certified check, travellerâ??s check, money order. We do not accept credit cards for the balance due.

- if you choose to send payment prior to your arrival and are using US funds, the exchange rate on the day we receive payment will be considered.
