Tiny House Rental Photos and Description

Wymbolwood Beach is truly one of Ontario's undiscovered treasures. Ask anyone who has spent time at Wymbolwood and you will hear that its a sandy, clean, scenic, beautiful beach that rivals many beaches in the Carribean (at least in the summertime!) But the cost to staty at a fantastic beach does not have to be out of reach.

Our cabins may be smaller than a full cottage, but they are clean, very affordable, family friendly and right on the beach. Our most popular model is a 2 bedroom cabin that fits up to 5 people (2 adults and 3 children). Connecting the 2 bedrooms is a living / dining / kitchen area with a small stove, microwave, fridge with freezer and basic kitchen supplies like dishes, pots and pans. All cabins come with a 3-piece washroom that includes hot water and a shower. Amoung our 10 cabin units we also have a few 1 bedroom models that accomodate 1 to 3 people.

Step outside the cabins and you are greeted with a grassy lawn area with a picnic table for each cabin a a few outdoor chairs. There is a childrens play area, a sandy volleyball court and of course, one of the best beaches in Ontario just oustide your door.

The atmosphere is informal but friendly. Often times we have the same families return year after year to reconnect with other vacationers who stay with us at the same time. Many people also use our property during different weeks of the summer for large or small familiy reunions. It is an ideal spot to rent multiple cabins and spend some quality time with your extended family while enjoying the privacy of your own cabin.

Minimum Stay Required

We are open from June to September and operate on a Saturday to Saturday calendar. A minimum of 1 week stay is required, although many families stay even longer. After you see your first sunset, take your first swim, go for your first long walk along the shore - you will know why Wymbolwood Beach is such a special destination, just 1.5 hours north of Toronto.

There are many reasons why Wymbolwood Beach is ideal for children. Just add some beach toys and the clean sandy beach provides hours of sand castle fun. The bay is gradual and stone-free - meaning there is a large, safe shallow area for parents and children to splash around. This also allows our bay to warm up nicely in the summer compared to deeper bodies of water. Facing the west means that we also enjoy spectacular sunsets almost every night!

Nearby Midland and Wasaga Beach offer day trips for sightseeing. Boat cruises, restaurants, drive in theatres, historic outdoor museums and wildlife nature centres are all within 20 minutes from Wymbolwood. From Midland you can tour the 30000 Islands by boat on an afternoon cruise. Wyemarsh Wildlife center is an exciting place to view nature up close on the boardwalk that goes right through a natural marsh. Sainte Marie Among the Hurons takes you back in time with its recreated villiage from the 1600's. Restaurants range from fast-food to formal; there is something for everyone when it comes to dining out.

20 minutes to the south lies Wasaga Beach, home of mini-golf, go-carts and shopping at the beach. Older children like to also visit for the large arcades and novelty shops that Wasaga offers.
