Cancellation: 90 days in advance - full refund, otherwise deposit is forfeited.
Names of all persons occupying the cottages with ages. Current addresses of head of household for all families occupying household.
A damage deposit of 1/3 of rental price (~$500) in summertime. Post dated cheque for date of rental.
Check in time is 4:00pm and Check-out time is 10:00am.
Cleaning fee of $125 due at time of check in.
If unforeseen cleaning is required (gum on the sofa, dirty dishes, dirty laundry, etc the extra cleaning fees will come out of the damage deposit). Our cleaning crew is given 6 hours to clean and launder towels and linens, vacuum, wash floors and surfaces, clean bathrooms, and kitchen. We want your experience to be lovely, but we expect that our tenants respect the cottage and its belongings.
Linens are supplied for all beds and towels/pp will be supplied. If more are needed, it is the renters responsibility to launder the linens and towels. No beach towels will be supplied.
Do not remove glasses or dishes from the cottage.
The premises are to be left in clean condition and as it was found. All garbage is to be disposed of, including; all recyclables, food in/or outside of refrigerator. All dishes/pots are to be cleaned prior to leaving the premises. All furniture, dishes, and other objects belonging to the cottage are to be left as they were found. If furniture is moved, please move it back before vacating. ie. first floor to the 2nd floor, including cutlery and dishes.
Due to past issues with tenants, we have chosen to charge a damage deposit and a cleaning fee. In the past we supplied linens, towels, paper products, laundry detergent, dish detergent, etc. However due to lack of respect for property, we will only be supplying enough for the number of people renting the cottage.
This cottage was clean, spacious and comfortable, with modern amenities. There was plenty of room for our party of 8 without tripping over each other. The beds were great and everyone got a good night's sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, knives, cutlery, cooking utensils, and even a big lobster pot. Outside there was plenty of deck space with many chairs and a table. We could easily park 4 vehicles in the driveway. Plus the beach was just a few minutes walk away.
Yes, this property is "as advertised", and our dealings with the owners went just fine. We would recommend this cottage to anyone.
