Enjoy great Holiday in our Lovely Villa
We stayed at this villa for a week. First time my family has ever vacationed for a week and wished we had longer to stay. I was a little worried about the villa being on the first floor because I prefer staying higher for a better view. Boy am I glad I didnt let that keep me from booking. The view was breath taking from this villa!!! It is conveniently located to the elevator and the parking garage. You can not go wrong booking this property. Best vacation ever period!!
Our family of 4 rented Angela's ocean villa for a week the end of March 2016 & it was perfect! Multiple friends rented other villas for their families in the same complex (one was right next door). We all had such a great time, none of us wanted to leave! The layout of the villa was nice--our kids loved having their own space (2 bed/bath unit) connected via adjoining door to the parent space (kitchen/living room/master bedroom/bathroom unit). This was a senior trip for some of our 18-year old kids--who had a great time (some would've liked more people their own age around the area than there was, so it was good that we went with a group of families). The kids were able to have some freedom from parents (coming/going to the Wyndham Resort bar/pool/casino & playing on the beach nearby). It's a safe environment within a gated-community and we often saw the presence of Ocean Villa Security so that worked well for the parents too. The adults went over to the Wyndham Hotel Pool/Bar a couple of times, but honestly preferred the calmer atmosphere of the 2 pools at Ocean Villas (if you bring drinks to the pool, bring cans or cups--NO GLASS). At times we felt like we had the place to ourselves--until it got closer to Holy Week, then the place was at max capacity! As the place got busier, security required everyone to wear green wristbands. Puerto Rico is BEAUTIFUL and there is so much to do and see--Zip-lining; hiking in the nearby El Yunque rainforest; exploring/shopping in Old San Juan; touring the forts in Old San Juan (go early); snorkeling catamaran trips & bio-bay night kayaking. Rest assured that Angela's villa is equipped with everything you need--plenty of bath/beach towels, sheets, beach toys, kitchen essentials, washer/dryer, air conditioning (not all villas there have AC or washer/dryer). We also had underground parking 1 level below the villa with an elevator nearby (nice plus to have the grocery carts there for loading/unloading). I would recommend stopping at Costco on your way to the villa from the airport. One recommendation I would give is for Angela to put some sort of lock-box outside the doors or possibly offer guests 4 keys. We only received 2 keys. Some days we were all going in different directions and it would've been nice to be able to leave a key in a lock-box for any of us to get in/out of the villa. A big thanks to Angela for taking such great care of us and for all the great family memories!
Visited for a long weekend and greatly enjoyed being on the beach and near (but not in) the Wyndham Hotel with restaurants, shops, casino, etc. when we wanted to use them. The unit itself was well-maintained and very nicely furnished, and owner and on-site manager were fully responsive. Would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.
First, Angela is great to work with and ready to answer any question. Second about the property, the view and accommodations can't be beat. You pretty much feel like you have a private pool and beach to yourself. This is the closest to the beach we have ever stayed (walking distance wise) in any of our vacations...maybe a 30 yard walk. We only went to the main resort once as we preferred to eat off property. A few places we highly recommend you go are to the Kiosks in Luqillo (tons of options) or the road-side food stand in El Yunque (authentic street food, cheap and really good).
With El Yunque across the highway, it is highly accessible. I would recommend going early during the week if possible. We went on 3 separate occasions and were able to explore a lot of trails.
My 8 year old twins absolutely loved this trip. I have zero bad things to say about PR or this property. Do yourself a favor and book this place and be ready to be impressed by this country.
Just returned from a 5 night stay at this great condo. My wife, daughter and future son in law enjoyed the amenities of the unit and the grounds. An added bonus was being so close to the hotel where we had breakfast and dinner daily. We would definitely rent this unit again.
Angela was quick in responding to all our questions prior to our arrival.
My husband and I stayed at this villa for a week in December and had a wonderful time. Angela was very nice and helpful and she answered all our questions. The villa was very nice, and exactly as pictured. It was very clean and the views were truly amazing. Most of the time we had the pools and hot tub to ourselves. Take a walk down the beach and you will find lots of sand dollars. We went to Richie's Cafe which has a very nice view. We also went to several restaurants right up the road from the villa. When you leave the resort, turn left on the main road and drive up the road about a mile and a 1/2. On the left hand side there are several very nice restaurants & a few shops located all together with an open type atmosphere. I can't remember the names of the restaurants, but one of them is famous for lobster. The food was very good and we would recommend it. We rented a car and went to Old San Juan, and the El Yunque National Rainforest. We would highly recommend both places. We did rent Kayaks and went to the Bioluminescent Bay. Maybe it was the night we went there, however, we weren't impressed at all. We only stayed in the area where you see the lights for about 10 minutes and we didn't see much at all. We moved our hands in the water a little bit and that is when we saw the lights. Although this was highly recommended I wouldn't waste the money. We had a wonderful time and would love to return and stay in the same villa, it was GREAT!!!
