What makes this chalet unique

Our Chalet is secluded in the woods but only 15 minutes away to the nearest town. Because of being in the woods we experience wildlife everyday. The other day there were 11 deer watching me stack wood and 3 Turkeys past me by. Last summer an Eagle swooped down and picked up a small fish from our lake. Both times I didn't have my camera but I'm going to start wearing it. If you don't want to use our lake for swimming or boating you can drive 15 minutes to Flathead Lake the largest fresh water lake this side of the Mississippi. Or drive 45 minutes to the entrance of Glacier National Park and drive on Going-to-the-sun highway. (A must to do.) If you like private & peace and quiet you'll love our place. If you want night life 30 minutes away you can find anything in downtown Whitefish. Just ask us what our favorite restaurants are. We have a few.

Everything we hoped for and more...

We had an amazing stay... Randy and Cindy went out of their way to make our stay memorable. It didn't feel like a rental.. it felt like home. They were very accommodating and helpful when we had a question. From pointing us in the right direction to see the sights to recommending restaurants for us to try. Their home is perfectly positioned to explore Bigfork, Whitefish, Glacier and many other sites/towns. The home is well kept, stocked, secluded for privacy and pictures of this house do not do it justice. You can tell this is more than just a source of income for them. We will definitely be back to create more memories. For the fishermen, I left some Rooster Tails... bass were hitting them almost every cast. For the wildlife lovers... we had deer every day checking the apple trees, turkeys and Candian geese. We also recommend a boat trip to Wild Horse Island..

The perfect home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at the chalet from Sept. 10th through the 13th. We wish we could have stayed much longer! It is a little piece of paradise. The cabin is very cozy and had everything we needed to make this the perfect home away from home. Randy and Cindy really have thought of everything!!! The view of the lake is amazing! We saw white-tail deer and their fawn every day we were there, and we also saw wild turkey roaming the property. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings after a long day of exploring the area. This a great location - not far from Glacier National Park, Big Fork, and Whitefish... yet you feel so far away from everything. There is a reason this home has so many perfect reviews! Not to mention the owners, Randy and Cindy. We cannot thank them enough for being such gracious hosts. From the moment we booked they were there to answer any questions, and made us feel as though we were staying at a friend's home. Randy met us after we landed and gave us a quick overview of the chalet and the area. He also texted us during our stay to make sure everything was going well, and to see if we needed anything.

My husband and I have stayed in several home away homes, and this was by far our favorite... and the best experience overall. Book this home, you will not regret it!

This is our second time at the chalet and it is still as amazing as the first time. My husband and I really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beautiful setting this home has to offer. We enjoyed fishing on the lake and watching the turtles that were on a piece of driftwood. The hot tub and fireplace added to the comfort of our three day get away. Randy and Cindy are the best and are available when and if there are any questions. We will be back for another stay for sure.

The house was just as advertised. Great & beautiful location, close proximity to outdoor activities & nearby towns. Extremely peaceful & very relaxing. We had deer in the yard everyday, which was quite a treat. Cindy & Randy were great, very helpful but not intrusive at all. It was a great vacation experience, we will definitely rent Randy & Cindy's place again on a return trip to the Glacier National Park area.

This was one of the best rentals we have ever stayed at. It was very clean and comfortable, with everything thought of by the owners. They even had robes available for use on the cool mornings. The house overlooks the lake just like you see in the pictures. We saw deer and turkeys every day we were there. The lake itself is really great. Not too cold for swimming (at least in August), or rowing around in the rowboat. We saw turtles in the lake, and fish everywhere! The location was perfect for us - not in town, but in a nice neighborhood without any close neighbors (just the way we like it). It is a short drive into Bigfork, which is a fun little town, and not far from Kalispell which is a great place to get groceries. We visited Glacier National Park twice during our stay there, and it's not too far from the entrance to the park (maybe 35-45 minutes). The communication with the owners was top notch. No surprises, and no stress. They contacted me at all the appropriate intervals prior to and during our stay to keep everything comfortable. I would definitely recommend this location and rental to anyone.
