Overview

About the property

This 4 bedroom cottage is professionally cleaned between each guest and spacious with beds for 8 people to sleep comfortably. It is located 1.5 km from beautiful Point Clark sand beach and north of the historic lighthouse. This spacious four bedroom cottage is located on a network of sandy trails leading 300m to the beach in a quiet cottage community. A fenced backyard provides a nice private setting but a beach access runs down the south property line.

A driveway has parking for 2 cars, it is half gravel and half concrete.

The living area has a comfortable couch and a large window looking out to the back yard. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a microwave, stove, oven and fridge adjacent to the dining area.

A door leads from the living area out to a wooden back yard deck with BBQ and picnic table.

Physically separated from the living area, the cottage has four bedrooms on two levels. In the passage way, and at the side door, there is a laundry room (washer and dryer). There's no need to go into town!

There is a screened in porch on the roadside of the cottage. This is a great spot to sit on hot summer days and nights away from the mosquitoes.

The large fenced in backyard of the cottage has plenty of grass for the kids to play. The property has a large fire pit for summer fun. All this and a nice outdoor deck / sitting area.

There is also a small children's playground (Lion's Park) in the area about a 2 minute walk away, baseball Diamond, Tennis and Basket ball courts are close enough to walk to and there are lots of hiking and biking trails nearby. Historic lighthouse with tours is found at the Point Clark main public beach. A family style restaurant with delicious meals is a 2km away. Top quality golf courses within a 15 minute drive. Go carts and mini golf 15 min drive away.

$ 400 / 3-night weekendA beautiful sand beach is located a very short walk away, about 300 metres from the cottage. Or about 3km to the Point Clark marina ramp where you can drop in your boat.

This is a quiet, sandy beach. A few rocks sit on the shore, with a scattering of pebbles and rocks at the waterâ??s entrance. A shallow shoreline and gradual slope into the water makes the beach suitable for children. It does not, however, have washroom facilities. Swim shoes are recommended.

Take long walks along the beach out to the Point Clark lighthouse, one of the historical 1850's Imperial lighthouses. Once at the lighthouse, take a short ten minute walk down a small nature trail, to get the kids some ice cream at the ice cream stand.

This area offers nice cycling with a combination paved and gravel roads.

Nice roomy 4 bedrooms cottage/ walk to the sand beach in a nice cottages/ homescommunauty

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed this bedroom cottage with 1 1/2 bath. The cottage had a nice sunroom to put in our beach essentials and a big side entrance foyer. The kitchen table is very generous, big enough to sit 8 to 10 confortably. It also have a big back yard for the kids to play and trees for shade. It is lovelt for mornng or evening walks or bicycling. The walk to the beach is about a block and 1/2 with no hills to climb up or down.
