We fell in love with this historic Provincetown home. A perfect place to spend our 50th anniversary. Very comfortable, roomy - yet cozy and we felt 'at home'. Whiffs of the salty sea swirled around me as I opened the door in the morning. Located on a side street with a few steps to city centre.........and the harbor.
We adored this place and will absolutely be staying here the next time we're visiting Ptown (hopefully for a longer period of time!). The place felt like a true "home base" with the best location in town, everything within walking distance. Will and LuAnn were incredibly responsive, flexible and an absolute pleasure to interact with the entire time. The house - from its rooms, to its porch and extensive yard, exudes old Cape Cod charm.
We absolutely love this place. The pictures do not do it justice in both comfort or sense of home.
This was our third year here for Bear Week and we are so looking forward to next year already.
We hold a cookout every year and invite out friends over, the side yard is perfect for holding this and the full kitchen is such a blessing to have in getting everything ready. All of our friends look forward to the cookout ever year and we are always hearing about what an amazing find it was for us to get this place.
Will (Owner) is great and easy to talk to and work with and LuAnn (Property Manager) was great as always, right on top of any request we had, and there are always so few.
You truly feel like you are at home here. It's relaxing and spacious enough to be able to spread out and enjoy your time in Provincetown to the fullest.
As a Homeaway vacation home owner, we have certain expectations of what a vacation home should be. This historic home met all of those expectations. At first glance it is cozy and inviting. Upon entering the home we found it extremely neat and well appointed. The sitting porch is a great place to relax with a cup of coffee to start the day or a drink to finish the day. The kitchen has everything that you need to prepare any meal. The home is light and airy and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. And the bathroom was large and easy for 4 people to use. We could not have asked for a better location to Commercial Street (center of town) or the beaches. And the full driveway that provides off street parking is the icing on the cake.
We loved it! William was able to make this happen in less than a day. The beds are sooo comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is huge. We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet yet so close to commercial street and the beach. Louann was great and so sweet. Our puppy loved it. We definitely recommend it to couples and families.
Provincetown is located at the very tip of Cape Cod and enjoys cool breezes from the surrounding water making it much more comfortable than the main land in the summer months. The light in this area is spectacular and is one of the main reasons artists have called this home for over two hundred years. Come and see for yourself.
