Mont-Tremblant is a city in the Laurentian mountains of Quebec, Canada, approximately 130 kilometres (81 mi) north-west of Montreal and 140 kilometres (87 mi) north-east of Ottawa. The current municipality with city status was formed in 2000. Mont-Tremblant is most famous for its ski resort, the Mont-Tremblant Ski Resort, which is 5 kilometres from the village proper, at the foot of a mountain called Mont Tremblant (derived from local Algonquins who referred to it as the "trembling mountain").Rates subject to change.

The unit itself was as advertised, lots of room ( we were four men on a golf get away), there were two rooms we never went in. Great hot tub overlooking the lake. Several world class golf courses nearby. The chalet was remote enough to get the feeling of seclusion, but only twenty minutes from the amenities of Tremblent.
On the downside:
-The kitchen was poorly equipped , very few condiments and spices, the teflon frying pans were worn, and only metal spatulas provided.
- no instructions for the tv, we figured it out eventually.
-very displeased with Home away/Canada stays, as far as I can see they provide no useful service, and charge a lot for it. I always thought the VRBO
site was to put clients and owners (agents) together, the use of a middleman defeats this purpose, as a result I will not use the VRBO site again.
