The ocean front , 66 feet of ocean front ,the detail of the house with it's style , each room is a different vibe the size of the house plenty of room,
the palm trees surrounding it's foundation ,the boardwalk use of the area for biking , basketball , surfing, swimming ,tennis +the convienence of restaurants , pubs , markets. are walking distance (not driving distance ) this particular area of mission beach is quiet , unlike the rest of mission beach . it is a prime location of this 5 mile strip & also close to the bay & marina for Boating.

every April for the past 9 years & we always stayed at the Valencia renting 5
rooms for one week, til we saw this place , we will be staying here from now
on .This place is absolutely beautiful & being right on the ocean made it key.
Awesome beach house with amazing outdoor spaces. Easily accommodated our group of 10. Kitchen came with a plethora of pots, pans, utensils and even a fully stocked spice drawer. Overall great experience, would do it all over again.
We stayed for a week at Curtis' large beach home. The location is fantastic, and that is all you are paying for. The home itself needs a ton of work. It obviously has not been updated in many, many years. The inside of the home is very dark and the furniture is in dire need of replacing. The saltillo tile floors were filthy and need steam cleaned to get all of the dirt out. The kitchen is small for the size of the home, but the basics to cook were there. The bedrooms were very old and some hadvisible wiring. The bathrooms (only three for this large home) were old with grout missing from the sinks and counter tops. The entire home, inside and out needs paint. The outside paint is peeling off of the walls and has patchwork all over. The small patio outside of the front door has absolutely no shade after 12 noon. This is the place to sit and watch the world go by, but almost impossible because of the constant sun. We broke down and bought an umbrella so we could sit outside. With the high price of rent, I would think the owners would put some of those funds back into the house.
Got the house for my 30th birthday and could not have been more pleased with my entire experience at this beach house. The owner Curtis was awesome!! Super easy to get a hold of. He came over and gave a tour of the home and showed us how to use the BBQ. The house is literally right on the beach! It was everything I could have hoped for and more! It is gorgeous and sooooooo cozy, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, the best part was the spa on the roof! This beach allows bonfires as well. We used the firesideguy, they come out and set the whole thing up and break it down for you when you're done. It was such a wonderful experience. There are no toiletries provided, soap, shampoo, etc. However i bring all my own stuff even when i stay at hotels so that wasnt a problem! There is a liquor store right across the street (walking distance) and a grocery store about 10 min. driving distance. I will definitely be renting this house for future events!!
We had 10 guys staying here for the weekend for a bachelor party. The house was excellent!

We had the whole family (9) and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, Great location can walk to everything. The Hot Tub and lounge chairs on the roof were amazing - we loved watching the people and the sunrise up in our own special place.
Curtis was great to work with and was responsive to questions. Highly recommend the house you will love listening and looking at the ocean waves all day and night. Good Restaurants walking distance and everyone was really friendly.
10 minutes Airport/downtown La Jolla 5 minutes to Seaworld.
