Why Alexis chose 4th Arrondissement Pompidou Le Marais

This location is perfect for foodies like us - with 3 bakeries within 2 blocks, cheese shops, butchers, organic food markets and a twice weekly farmers market steps away at the Bastille. Also we can walk to the Seine for summer sunsets in about 5 minutes, and be at the metro in 2 minutes. Place Des Vosges around the corner is an added bonus!

Over the top AMAZING!!

  • 5 of 5

Wow, this was my first time to Paris and we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to call home for our vacation. From the moment we booked, Alexis & team made sure we had everything before our arrival and had a lay of the land. The flat location is two minute walk from the Bastille metro stop and every restaurant right outside of the door was amazing!! One restaurant not to be missed is Chez Mademoiselle!!

Note, I'd heard the stories of the rude Parisians but we didn't find one and EVERYONE was over the top nice and hospitable.

Au revoir et a bientot

Perfect apartment, perfect location

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was perfect for my husband and myself. It was beautifully decorated and comfortable in size. We loved the full size shower; a rarity in Paris! We also appreciated the pull out sofa in the living room - made it easy to wake up at night and not disturb the other person. Although we didn't use it, the kitchen was fully stocked, and there were thoughtful extras - plug converters, a stand of umbrellas, a bottle of wine waiting to welcome us. All the details involved in the rental were well organized and executed perfectly. We will be happy to rent this apartment again the next time we're in Paris.

The place to stay in Paris!

  • 5 of 5

Location Location Location ; Le Marais - I do not think there is a better place to stay in Paris. Walk to the Metro, numerous shops in the neighborhood, great cafes, near charming Place Des Vosges, go running along the nearby Seine - the list goes on and on. We did not feel like tourists but more like Parisians! The apartment is spectacular. The online photos of the apartment are quite accurate. Very clean and comfortable - a home away from our home. Alexis left us detailed instructions on how to use everything from the modern appliances to the internet phone (great to call the US). She also left a list of restaurants, which we did take her up on, along with recommendations of things to do and places to shop (we received this from her in advance of arriving which helped in planning our stay). She was extremely helpful in responding to our questions prior to our stay. It was really nice to have a shop right next door for some necessities (and the shop keeper is quite friendly especially after telling him we are a guest of the "American Girl" from next door). We would definitely stay in this apartment during our next trip to Paris and I strongly recommend this apartment for your stay. I can assure you will be as satisfied as we were.

Great apt

  • 5 of 5

We loved the location of the apt! On advice from Alexis we went to the Sunday market for cheese, eggs, bread and flowers. It was a bit noisy from neighbors - but this is city living. The bed was very comfortable and the large bathroom made getting ready in the morning easy. Within just a few blocks of the metro station. We'll certainly stay here again should we find ourselves in Paris!

Wonderful Apartment in Paris! Excellent Location

  • 5 of 5

We were lucky enough to stay in this wonderful apartment over the holidays. Paris is absolutely beautiful and this apartment is located in a wonderful area! It was perfect for myself, my husband and two boys 7 and 8 at the time. When you walk out the front door of the apartment onto the street there are shops with amazing cheeses, terrines, fruit, wine and bread. THIS IS PARIS!! You can easily walk to the Seine and Notre Dame and the Place de Vosges in around the corner. We took the Metro everywhere and it was only a short enjoyable walk back to the apartment. Alexis was wonderful to deal with and all the Parisians we met were welcoming. I have already recommended this apartment to friends and family who are planning on taking a trip to Paris. If you are planning on visiting don't miss Sacre Coeur, the Catacombs and a nighttime tour of the Lourve (booked with Viator)!! Have fun and book this apartment!

Great location and great apartment

  • 5 of 5

This is the second time I have stayed at this apartment, and would gladly make it my Paris home again. Well-located in terms of transportation, shopping, restaurants, yet totally quiet, as it's at the back of the building. The owner has decorated it beautifully and leaves it for you well-organized and stocked with immediate needs. I have stayed at many vacation apartment rentals, and this has been easily one of the best ever.
