About Ray Lindberg

As a Pa family, we wanted a vacation destination where we could escape to the mountains. We love spending time in nature and getting away from the daily grind. In Blue Ridge, we put on our hiking boots, hit the trails, and look for wildlife. The whole family loves nothing more than seeing a doe and fawn in the woods. When we're there, we notice how the mountain air is intoxicating and just how clear the night sky is with all its twinkling stars. It's a truly stellar getaway!

Why Ray Lindberg chose North Georgia Mountains

Honeysuckle Mountain Hideaway checked many boxes off our checklist. For one, it is near the national forest, which is not far from downtown Blue Ridge. Secondly, waterfalls and trails, including the start of the Appalachian Trail, are in the vicinity. Thirdly, the cabin is located in a beautiful mountain area where we can drive easily--no steep inclines. Lastly, it is just the perfect size cabin for our family.

What makes this cabin unique

We love that our cabin is unique as it is built with real logs and chink. The fireplace definitely gives it a special charm as well. Mostly though, we like that it's a cozy place of serenity with all the modern features of a home.

Immaculate Cabin.

We loved our stay and were pleasantly surprised at how clean the cabin was. The screened-in porch was amazing. We had a great "unplugged " vacation.

This is a wonderful place to connect with family and nature!

  • 4 of 5

This cabin in the Blue Ridge Mtns. was absolutely everything we hoped for! The beds were comfy, the kitchen stocked with everything you need for cooking, less the groceries. We basically lived on the porch surrounded by the smell and sounds of nature all around. The Toccoa River was a short drive away. Walking the roads around the cabin were a hilly challenge for us mid-lifers - but it was great exercise. At night we enjoyed the Net-flix subscription for movie time. We would definitely navigate the winding mountain roads again to stay in this charming cabin!

Clean, cozy, felt like home!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was "move in ready" and immediately felt like home! We were able to access many hiking trails and the town of Blue Ridge all within easy driving distance. The screened porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening games despite the cold weather, it was too beautiful not to soak in the moments!

Exceeded expectations!

  • 5 of 5

The very first thing we noticed when we walked in was how clean the place was. It was cozy and charming, too. The perfect little cabin getaway. It is obvious that the owners care about the place and keep it looking nice and well decorated. My only complaint is that there was no snow :)

Beautiful view nestled in the woods.

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was just right for a quick retreat for friends over a fall weekend. There were three of us, and the size of the cabin was perfect. We would definitely return!
