About Ray Lindberg

As a Pa family, we wanted a vacation destination where we could escape to the mountains. We love spending time in nature and getting away from the daily grind. In Blue Ridge, we put on our hiking boots, hit the trails, and look for wildlife. The whole family loves nothing more than seeing a doe and fawn in the woods. When we're there, we notice how the mountain air is intoxicating and just how clear the night sky is with all its twinkling stars. It's a truly stellar getaway!

Why Ray Lindberg chose North Georgia Mountains

Honeysuckle Mountain Hideaway checked many boxes off our checklist. For one, it is near the national forest, which is not far from downtown Blue Ridge. Secondly, waterfalls and trails, including the start of the Appalachian Trail, are in the vicinity. Thirdly, the cabin is located in a beautiful mountain area where we can drive easily--no steep inclines. Lastly, it is just the perfect size cabin for our family.

What makes this cabin unique

We love that our cabin is unique as it is built with real logs and chink. The fireplace definitely gives it a special charm as well. Mostly though, we like that it's a cozy place of serenity with all the modern features of a home.

Charming and Cozy Cabin in the Woods

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was beautifully done, immaculately clean and had everything you could need - a well stocked kitchen, plenty of toiletries, linens, etc. It's located in a subdivision, but felt very private - we could barely see the neighboring property through the trees. The decor was really cute with a bear and moose theme, but not overly cheesy with gorgeous wood everywhere. It's in a lovely, quiet location - 20 minutes away from town.

We loved the cabin and location. Very convenient to all the places we wanted to go and a lot for the children to do. We will definitely be going back. The cabin was very clean and the kids loved it having Netflix for night time.

Everything I could have hoped for and more!

  • 5 of 5

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful cabin for our 27th wedding anniversary. The cabin was squeaky clean and filled with everything you could possibly need. You only need to bring groceries. The cabin was nicely decorated throughout and is in a good location for any activity you choose to do. We hope to come back next year with our family. Rent this cabin. You won't be dissappointed.
