Sleeping accommodations are two private bedrooms with 1 king bed and 1 queen. The sofa in the living room has 1 queen size sleeper and 1 twin sleeper (comfortable sleeper sofa! No springs, no bars, no sagging).

We purchased this property because we love Stowe, VT. We are ski instructors at the mountain and love owning property in the area. We live in Plattsburgh NY and visit Stowe in the summer and winter.

What makes this condo unique

GREAT LOCATION! Condo located on 40 acres with lots of green space. Easy walk to several restaurants, next to bike path and golf course. Shuttle to and from mountain.

The condo was great, we loved the décor and everything was very comfortable. It was a perfect location for us.



My family was able to spread out and there was plenty of room.



We were disappointed that the outdoor pool was broken, but used the indoor pool.



The only issue ( for the kids ) was that they couldn’t get the wi fi in the house.



We would consider renting again next year. Let me know if you are planning to rent it out.

Great place to stay at Stowe!

We enjoyed our stay at a Village Green condo unit in Stowe Upper Village. Though the complex itself is not new, the unit has been renovated, with a fresh-looking carpet and nice décor. Everything was in perfect working order. Very comfortable beds, including a large pull-out in the downstairs living room. Two large full bathrooms made it easy to share for a family of 4. Kitchen was well-stocked, with a gas stove a nice touch. Fast, reliable WiFi and TV in every room. The amenities building offers a small indoors swimming pool, hot tub and sauna as well as games room. Beautiful view out of large windows on a snow-covered green. Very quiet! There is a huge choice of restaurants, shopping and entertainment in the village of Stowe and along Mountain Road, an easy 10 minute drive to the ski hills. Maintenance and snow clearing were prompt after a big snowstorm. Easy key pick-up and check-out. We will be back!

Roomy place for a small family to stay

Clean, comfortable condo with everything that you need. Nice to have 2 bathrooms. Convenient location with bus service to the ski hill. Made use of the games supplied. Kitchen had all the needed equipment.

Very nice condo, but a few quirks...

First of all, the owner of this condo couldn't be more gracious, helpful and accommodating. She is very easy to contact and very responsive to messages.

The condo itself was, as others have stated, very clean, functional and the proximity of the location to town, ski slopes, etc. couldn't be better. It's also nice in that its location is away from the high-traffic mountain road, so the unit is very quiet, yet easy to get to.

We did however have a few issues that prevented me from giving the listing 5 stars. First is the management company, as you're only provided 4 towels and then would be charged, what we felt, pretty high rates for just providing clean towels. Laundry facilities could be used, but we felt that the charges to use the laundry were also high and that the company was taking advantage of one's lack of alternatives. YMMV.

Another issue we had was with the heat in the unit, as it was pretty cold when we stayed at the rental. The heating system is possibly in need of a bleeding, as all night long the pipes were banging very loudly to the point that it made sleeping sometimes difficult. The sound is sometimes very periodic, like a dripping faucet, and will keep light sleepers awake. An HVAC visit should be able to rectify this issue.

The gas fireplace is also in need of a maintenance visit, as it tends to make very loud "flashes", where the flame will actually go out and then reignite with a "whoosh". We didn't know if this was normal or not, and made us afraid to use it. I'm sure that this too could be rectified with a maintenance visit.

Another issue in the master bedroom is the security light outside the unit. It is VERY bright and the curtains in the master are not thick enough to prevent the light from lighting up the entire room at night. Those that like a dark room to sleep, may find the light annoying.

Also, as others have stated, be prepared to haul your garbage and recyclables to the dumpsters. We don't believe we've ever stayed at a place that required one to do that. The unit must be cleaned afterwards anyway, so it just seems like it would be their responsibility to do this as well. To have guests "take out the trash" seems petty. Would you ask a guest in your home to take out the trash? Again, I think the management company is out to make a penny at any turn, and doesn't reflect on the actual owner of the unit.

Beyond those nit-picks, we did have a wonderful stay at the unit.

We had a great stay. Very clean and comfortable. Only issue was not enough blankets for third bed but were able to get another from the very helpful reception center.

It was a well-appointed, clean and spacious property.

We always enjoy the Village Green, perfectly located and the indoor pool is a great amenity. The condo unit we rented was lovely. The very small comment I have was regarding the kitchen. It's normal to have a rather empty pantry, but usually owners provide some of the basics that renters wouldn't necessarily bring with them, like sugar for coffee. This is really just a small detail, overall there was nothing lacking in this pleasant condo.

Skiers have use of shuttle service that stops just outside the door every 20 minutes to the Stowe Mountain Resort of Mt. Mansfield, considered the best ski ares in New England. Cross-country skiing and son shoeing at the famous Von Trapp family trails only 5 minutes away.
