The murmur of the surf is the backdrop for your vacation at Golden Star Upper Level, our oceanfront house on Jacksonville Beach. With 3 oceanfront balconies, the latest electronics, and new furnishings, it's a dream beach house in the perfect location!
Golden Star is a Spanish-style house on the shores of Jacksonville beach, just beyond the beautiful natural dunes. The upper level has a separate outdoor entrance and comprises the second and third floors, with private balconies, 4 bedrooms, and 4 baths, sleeping 12 in utter comfort and bliss.
Begin your tour in the second-floor sitting room, where deep, luxurious armchairs face a bank of big windows overlooking the sea. This is a panoramic view, and one that you will remember long after the vacation is over. Watch pelicans sail past; glimpse the fins of a school of dolphins; study the ever-changing sky above the horizon. And, if you wake up early one morning, this is a fabulous place to capture the sunrise in all its Technicolor glory!
From the sitting room you may want to step out onto either of two balconies, one set up for casual seating and dining, the other perfect for playing during the day and dancing in the moonlight! Both overlook the beach, catching the salty breezes and the calls of the sea birds. Take your smartphone and your first cup of coffee out here in the morning and enjoy the quiet beauty of another Florida day beginning just for you!
In addition to the sitting room, Golden Star has a large living room just right for the whole group to pile into for movie night or a raucous game of charades. Here you'll find a huge HDTV with DVD player, ultra-comfy couches (one of which opens into a queen-sized bed) and overstuffed chairs, a decorative fireplace, a reading nook by the window, and terrific ocean views. It's the heart of the house, and the perfect place to reconnect with your favorite people.
Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen and dining area. You'll love the sparkling kitchen, with its stone countertops, fitted wood cabinets, gleaming new appliances, and full complement of cookware, dishes, and utensils. All you need add is groceries -- everything else is taken care of, from the coffeemaker to the blender, the microwave to the all-important dishwasher!
One of the kitchen counters doubles as a breakfast bar, set with high stools that the kids will love climbing up on. You will also find a lovely breakfast nook set in the sunniest corner of the kitchen. This comfy table is a great place for a quick game of cards or a workstation for your laptop (you have free WiFi at Golden Star).
The formal dining room is a separate space with a large, beautiful table set beneath a modern chandelier. Bring the whole group together for a meal and review the day's adventures! Then clear the table and break out the Uno for a little old-fashioned family fun before the kids have to go to bed!
When it's time for bed, everyone is guaranteed a great night's sleep at Golden Star. The third floor of the house is a loft with a sitting area complete with huge HDTV, couch that converts to sleeper sofa, and glorious balcony with breathtaking views. But that's not all -- the master suite is also up here, a palatial suite with a king-sized bed, private balcony access, great ocean views, and en-suite bath boasting a deep soaking tub and separate walk-in shower!
The other 3 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor: one oceanview with a queen-sized bed, two comfy armchairs with ottomans, and a private TV; another with a queen bed, recliner, and huge windows; and the third with 2 twin beds. Three full bathrooms on this floor serve the bedrooms as well as the living and dining areas. And a washer/dryer keeps all those swimsuits and towels fresh!
Come stay at Golden Star Upper Level next time you're coming to Jacksonville. It's your perfect beach getaway!
Hi! My name is Steve Milo and I started Vacation Rental Pros in 2006. Our family stays in vacation rental homes whenever we travel, both domestically and abroad! I own several vacation homes and listen carefully to all our guests' feedback. Our greatest compliment is when folks refer Vacation Rental Pros to their friends and relatives. We now manage over 1,800 properties in Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina. We have homes in Ft. Myers Beach, Orlando, St. Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra Beach, Hilton Head and Gatlinburg. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2016. Please call if you need help booking your dream vacation!
We stayed in 1151. Our condo was wonderful. Plenty of space for everyone in the family. We plan on a return visit.
BEST PLACE OUR FAMILY HAS EVER STAYED WITH KIDS AND ENJOYED THE QUIET AND FAMILY FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE. EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE BEDS IN EACH ROOM WERE THE MOST COMFORTABLE WE HAVE EVER SLEPT IN AWAY FROM HOME.
we had a nice stay. Personally I would have liked them to provide beach/pool towels instead of having to pack 6 towels. and chairs and umbrella and beach toys. I expect that from a beach condo. But the condo was really clean and nice.
This is our 3rd time to stay at the same unit. We have again reserved it for next year. Steve Milo and his team do everything possible to make our stays very enjoyable. It almost feels like home now. We both can hardly wait until next year.
This was the first time I have been to the St. Augustine/Palm Coast area and I loved it!! This was one of the best beach vacations our family has ever had! The condo was perfect for us...beautifully decorated and so spacious. We loved having the huge covered patio...everything was beyond my expectations! I love the fact that the Resort is right on the beach, which is awesome, as well as two pools with great food...and wonderful staff! Our group ranged in ages 1 yr - 50 and we all had so much fun!! We spent one afternoon shopping the outlet malls and then on to St. Augustine for a late lunch, more shopping on St. George Street and then dinner and it's just a short drive from Palm Coast. We also had a wonderful dinner one evening at Barbara Jean's in the European Village. All I can say is I can't wait to come back...this is the place for lots of fun, relaxing and making wonderful family memories!
This was our blended family's first vacation together. It was great. The condo was large enough for the children to NOT get on each other's nerves. The pools and beach were only a short walk from our lagoon-view condo. We were close enough to St. Augustine and Daytona to see the sites in both cities. This was a great vacation.
