Enjoy a beautiful apartment in a very central location with a spacious, open floor plan.
Washer/Dryer in unit.
Just a 10 minute ride to downtown and less than 10 minutes to Coolidge Corner with plenty of cafes, a theater, and the best restaurants in the Boston area. Brookline is one of the safest most charming neighborhoods in the country. John F. Kennedy was born and baptized here - you can visit the house where he lived as a child just a 10 minute walk away.
I will give you a list of the amazing Middle Eastern, Thai, and Sushi restaurants, European Cafes, and Bakeries in the area all less than 10 minutes away by foot.
* 5 minute walk to Green "C" and "B" subway - connectivity to Fenway Park, and Back Bay / Downtown
* 15 minute walk to Longwood Medical
* 10 minute walk to 66 Bus service with direct service to Harvard Square / Cambridge and Allston
* 10 minute walk to Green "C" Line - connectivity to Boston University and Back Bay / Downtown
* 2 minute walk to MIT Shuttle (just a 10 minute ride to MIT!)
* 5 minute walk to Hubway station Boston's biking program- use your credit card at the bike station.
* Bike parking is also available in the basement should you bring one or buy one while you are here
Parking is provided via a dedicated spot right behind the apartment.
One of the reasons I chose Brookline was it's easy access to the primary roadways. This location is SUPER close to Memorial Drive via BU Bridge, Rt 9 to go west towards Natick. Rt 90, for longer hauls west or east to Rt 95 or Rt 495. Storrow Drive for Cambridge, the Airport or downtown. It's easy to both get on and off these roadways to Brookline, and especially to this apartment. which is unusual in Boston. The only other location this convenient is Central Square in Cambridge.

I booked this room in Feb. For a stay 3 day stay in July. A week before I was to leave for my trip- enquired about how to access this apartment. I received three different addresses with 2 scenarios dealing with a lock box? I finally got an address and was told to text when I arrived. I got in after a 6 hour flight and was presented with a door that the cab driver asked me " are you sure this is your place?" It is an unlit side door, that is not an entrance. I called and no answer - I did this for 25 plus minutes. In that time I booked another local hotel and signed up for a LYFT account. As I was taking off in the car
the inn keeper showed up. I decided to stay because I prefer an apartment to a hotel room.
When I entered the basement unit the place was extremely hot. The air conditioning was not on and it had been in the 90's for weeks. The AC unit is the "in room" type about the size of a small fridge. When it was turned on it was extremely loud. Loud enough that you couldn't watch TV with out blasting it to an uncomfortable volume. The AC never really cooled the place. Because the apartment is below ground by about 5 feet, cell phone reception is only good if you stand with your head in a window well. If you are sitting down - your calls will drop.
I booked another hotel and spent the next two nights of my stay in a cool, comfortable and cheaper place.
We enjoyed our stay in the apartment in Brookline. The meeting process was efficient and when I misplaced my key, help was very quick! The online description was accurate and the place was spacious and fully equipped. Easy access to the T made travelling very easy and, with the senior citizens charlie ticket, inexpensive: I am glad I did not rent a car. The surprise was the beautiful park right out the door which at this time of year was full of different fall colors. If I return to Boston I would definitely stay again.
