‘She sells seashells’ and total, utter beachfront privacy. Zoom into Seashell on Google Maps and the location gets better and better. It’s directly on the beach, halfway between TPC Sawgrass and the historic charm of St. Augustine. You arrive at Seashell’s front door straight off the stunning Scenic A1A. It’s then you realize you’ve got the Atlantic Ocean all to yourself.
Be our guest! Brand new to the rental market following a gorgeous renovation, Seashell is ready to impress its very first visitors. A beach house with every modern convenience, yet packed with cottage charm, you’ll enjoy HDTV and free WiFi while recalling Ponte Vedra’s early days of the twenties and thirties. Neutral décor leaves the home’s main features to steal the show: it's high beamed ceiling, white-washed walls, and wide ocean views. This is the classic family beach bungalow people dream of inheriting.
Seashell is an ideal spot for bird-watchers and anyone with an appreciation for nature. Spend time with your binoculars spotting all manner of shore birds, and perhaps sea turtles, dolphins and migrating Right whales. For a more tactile approach, enjoy hours of shell-hunting right outside the back door.
The master bedroom has its own ocean views, allowing you to sneak peeks of the sunrise without an ounce of effort. The pair of single beds in bedroom two are equally idyllic after a tiring day of fresh sea air. The third bedroom with double bed means there’s space at Seashell for up to six guests. This single-story home will especially suit guests with mobility concerns or families with children they need to keep an eye on.
A brand new kitchen gleams with sweet stainless steel, including a French door fridge and deep, under-mount sink. The island breakfast bar, topped with granite counters that match the warm colors of the sand outside, is a perfect place to plan your day – will you head north or south on the A1A?
As for ‘the little things’, a stacked washer-dryer makes beach living clean and convenient. There’s an outdoor shower to keep sand separate from your time on the couch.
Between bed and the beach, a screened back porch is ideal for cuddling up to enjoy coffee as the sun rises. When ready to boogie board it’s just a barefoot race through your own backyard onto Ponte Vedra Beach itself.
If you love a new take on classic beach memories, be the very first to try life at Seashell.
This property has optional access to the prestigious 5 Diamond resort The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club.

Definitely recommend staying at this property. Wide-open beach front inside and out. House is clean and comfortable.
The location was great. Not many people around so was quiet and relaxing. Just what I needed. I have stayed at numerous VRBOs and most have a binder or outline to help you with things in the house.... not this one! The garbage disposal had a horrible smell and never could figure out where the switch was. Lamps had no bulbs in them... just little things that didn't add up to the price point. Our MAJOR complaint is the amount of bugs. Highly recommend this house being treated for roaches. That is the MAIN problem on why we will not be staying here again. Keep a shoe in one hand and a bottle of bug spray in the other.
Less than expected.
When you walk in, it is noisy from the two window air units that augment the central air. There is one unit right in the living room, and another in a bedroom. We were not expecting multiple window AC units. You will not hear any surf, even though this house is right on the beach. Two bedrooms have one full bed each, and the other has two twins. We were surprised that none of the rooms had a queen at least. Not what we are looking for in a vacation stay. The alarm unit would not stop beeping. I called the alarm company and the maintenance folks. The alarm company said to disconnect the battery, which I did, and apparently there is another power source. The maintenance folks never did anything. I found a key sequence that stopped it for a few hours at a time, but still had to get up in the middle of the night to enter it in again every night. The door locks open with the keys, but don't always unlock, so we locked ourselves out twice. Both times I was able to get into the house. The first time through a door window that had no latch because it had corroded away. I had to find a piece of wood to prop against the frame on the inside to make it safe. The second time, one of the bedroom windows was not latched and popped in as soon as I pressed it. I don't understand why there is an alarm system. All it does is annoy you. The TV situation is interesting. The living room TV is nice with a basic Comcast cable subscription - not HD. There is a TV in one of the bedrooms with full bed, and it has a DVD player and a Comcast unit, but the power adapter is missing. All the overhead fan/lights are remote controlled, which is nice, but the one in the room with the two twin beds, does not work. It isn't the battery because we put a new one in there, so the fan/light in the kids room was useless. It's a shame, because it seems like it wouldn't take much to fix this place up. We would never consider returning.
We loved the home lots of character and the fire pit was special at night thank you so much !
Absolutely beautiful beach
The house needs some maintenance. The there is a lot of minor breakdown. The house is beautiful but wasn't very clean. Counters and floors still had food on them from previous renters. Other than the minor things that fell apart and the need of a house keeper. This house was amazing.
Cottage like getaway
We loved the cottage atmosphere! My kids loved the yard to play in and the beach. I was just so happy to be away!
