The 2 br, 2.5 bath home has many upgrades. The condo community features a pool and spa, playground, and bbq area.
Comfortably sleeps 4 adults; (potentially up to six guests if including children, but need to confirm with owner for specific situations please).

Chris is a commercial pilot in the area and has lived in San Diego for almost 3 years.
Adrien helps support the email/inquiry portion of the property and assist guests during their stay while I am away.
We enjoy meeting new people and traveling both nationally and internationally for work. We originally learned about vacation rentals while on travel to Landstul, Germany last year and have just returned from a trip using vacation rentals in Verona,Milan, and Venice, Italy this summer!

You'll love our home! We have set up the condo with an eye to your comfort and convenience as well as for when we are there!
This is a fairly new condo area and is in what is known as the 'Midway' area in Point Loma of San Diego. You are close to interstate access (I-8, I-5 within a couple of miles), and so getting around town is quite accessible. The neighbors are generally quiet and friendly here and it's a quick walk to the closest grocery Von's with a Starbuck's. There are a number of restaurants close by that feature Mexican, Mediterranean, BBQ, or typical local fare along with several fast food places, if that is your interest. For a seafood experience, you might enjoy Point Loma Seafoods; approximately 3 miles away 2805 Emerson St.
Other close grocery sites include Ralph's and Target; both just a few blocks away. Another close and interesting place to check out is Liberty Station where you can find food, entertainment, playgrounds, and pretty much anything you could want!
We are pretty close to Old Town, which is a wonderful experience and place to spend a casual afternoon browsing unique shops and enjoying some of our local culture.
Seaport Village is a lot of fun (849 West Harbor Dr) and has some really nice restaurants and shops and impromptu street musicians.
USS Midway Museum (910 N Harbor Dr) is very interesting as well.
If you are interested in some history, you might want to check out Presidio Park or Cabrillo National Monument (check out the tidepools, the light house, and the visitor's center!)

"uber" is quick and easy and generally less expensive than local cabs. (download the app to your smart phone). There are several car rental places close by on rosecrans and kurtz streets. The san diego trolley offers some nice tours of old town and other places of interest.
If you are interested in using the metro transit system, you will find quick and easy access at the green stations listed on their website.
Locals have shared with us that they will often park at the trolley station and take the trolley in to high interest areas that have congested/limited parking.
If you are looking for a shopping mall, you will likely enjoy fashion valley mall or westfield mission valley; both are within 10 minutes via interstate.

We had a great weekend in San Diego, Chris was very nice, the condo is gorgeous, and perfectly located to visit the most important attractions in the city. We definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to have a great time in Southern California.
We recently vacationed with another couple and this was our first experience with Homeaway.com. We loved Chris' place. The location was perfect and we were not more than 10 miles from any of the things we wanted to see. Located in a quiet neighborhood it was just like being home. Loved that we could walk to the grocery store to get what we needed. The beds were amazingly comfortable we wanted to take them home! I would definitely stay here again if we decide to go back to SanDiego.
The condo was clean and quiet. Beds were amazing!!! This place was perfect for our girls trip...we felt safe the whole time. I have nothing negative to say. Just a short drive to all of the great attractions San Diego has to offer. We will certainly come back again next time with my whole family because the condo has more than enough space!!
Well appointed end unit condo in a great area. Close to the airport, beaches, bike trails, (we stayed to prepare for our California to Florida bicycle ride), shopping, and entertainment. Chris was a great host and was easy to contact. The condo was roomy, clean and very comfortable. We loved the garage which was a great place to store our bikes and gear. The pool and hot tub were a great added benifit especially after a long ride. We would recommend this condo for your stay in San Diego.
