We just finished the most amazing holiday ever at Casa Puros Dieces. The pictures on VRBO make the place look great but really don't do it justice. We were a group 6 of families with 21 people (yes, twenty-one people) and there was room for everyone: room in the pool, room for quiet get-away spots to read by yourself, room to sun on the deck, room for the group to gather all together for meals, lots of room! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, each with their own bathroom. The house staff were friendly and hard working. House manager Chris was very helpful with suggestions and arrangements for restaurants and activities. The villa was an easy walk into town for shopping or dining, or to the beach for surfing or relaxing. Tamarindo is well-located to get you all sorts of fun day-trips like zip-lining, ATVing, or river tours. Before we arrived, the staff connected us with the necessary airport transfers and also activities with outstanding guides. Everyone in our group loved Costa Rica, loved Tamarindo, but especially loved Casa Puros Dieces. I would highly recommend staying at Casa Puros Dieces to anyone considering the Tamarindo experience.
My family, friends, and I (19 total) had an amazing time at Casa Puros Dieces. Chris the manager was wonder. He was able to help us daily with finding this to do in Tamarindo. The house service was overly generous and willing to help us with anything we may need. The pool was awesome. My niece and nephew, 5 and 6, spent every moment they could splashing and playing in the pool. The kitchen/common area was a great place to relax and talk about that days adventures. Although security was offered, we felt very safe in the house. It was truly was a relaxing vacation in paradise. My only recommendation is to get some type of SUV or small SUV (although small cars were ok). The hill to the house is steep and the drive has a steep down grade. There is the chance at bottoming out in a small car when going down the driveway. Nonetheless, when we come back to visit my brother, and if we stay in Tamarindo, I plan on choosing Casa Puros Dieces again. It was absolutely spectacular.
This house is AWESOME! Spacious and extremely comfortable for our group of 12 people. The staff was extremely friendly. They arrived every day at the same time to clean the property. The House Manager Cris was a great asset for recommendations for things to do throughout Tamarindo and surrounding areas. He connect us w/a great Surf Instructor, Carlos. Carlos was wonderful with teaching our non-experienced group surfing and many of us were able to stand and wide a wave (or two)!!! Our group also had catered dinner by Chef Derek Furlani. Food was scrumptious and his staff was excellent. Another great recommendation from the house management. Cris even connected us with tour guides and great pricing on exursions! In sum, the pics were true to form, the home was extremely comfortable, it was a short walk (5 mins) down a steep hill to the beach, and directly in the Tamarindo town. I highly recommend for groups that want to stay in nice villa to groups that want access to things to do in town. I hope to come again soon and I will definitely stay here!
This house is absolutely stunning. Our group of 13 were amazed by the architecture, views, and size of the property. Everyone had plenty of room. The onsite staff includes 2 maids, a maintenance man, and optional security guard that was on the property from 7pm-7am.. all were very friendly and helpful. Nora cooked breakfast one morning and it was exceptional.
Chris, the property manager, will make sure your stay is stress free. We even had his wife (a professional masseuse) come to the house one afternoon and give massages which we highly recommend.
We cant wait to return next year!
Our stay at Casa Puro Dieces was amazing! We hd a group of 13 adults and consider our vacation in Tamarindo as one of the best! The house is beautiful architecturally, tranquil, spacious and relaxing. We spend "a lot" of time in the pool and the view is just amazing! The staff was very at tentative and Nora cooked us a wonderful Costa Rica breakfast on out last day. There is a beautiful "yoga/relaxing" outdoor room where a few of had massages.
Tamarindo has a variety of restaurants, shops and beach bars. It's a is a short 5 minute walk own the hill, and you can often see the monkeys in the trees during your walk. We booked our excursions through Denise at Xplore Costa Rica. I highly suggest the Rafting (Class2 & 3) combo tour. It included zip lining, rappeling/rock climbing, volcanic mud baths and an very nice lunch. All 13 of us went and enjoyed! We also snorkeled on the Hibiscus and did the Las Hornillas Tour.
We had airport transportation, and once we were at the Casa, no rental car was needed. Walk to town or excursions picked up our group.
We were all very sad to have to leave our house, Casa Puro Dieces. (most of us came back to 118 degree Arizona heat)….but we will definitely be back!
