We are in the perfect location. The house is on a quiet residential street that is just 3 blocks away from over a dozen bars, restaurants and grocery stores with delivery options. It is also a 10 minute drive away from all the monuments and museums that DC has to offer, Eastern Market, Chinatown, and the U.S. Capitol building.
The home is a 10-15 minute walk to both the Union Station and NoMa Metro stops. There are also public buses in the neighborhood that go directly to popular DC areas such as the National Mall, Chinatown, Georgetown and the Washington Convention Center. Bikeshare rentals, Zipcars, Lyfts and Ubers are readily available.

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy, clean, comfortable house in a leafy, quiet but central neighborhood close to many amenities. Roselyn was very accommodating making her house the perfect spot to start from and retire to during a lovely visit to DC. We would stay again in a heart-beat!
Thank you for that wonderful review. Please come back again.
Great home in a great area! Easy access to everything!
We loved this home from the minute we walked in. Plenty of room, comfy beds ... pretty much everything we needed at our fingertips! The showers were tight but hey ... get in & get out, no dawdling! We loved having our morning coffee out on the porch as well as an evening glass of wine. Would definitely rent this again. Thank you Roselyn for your promptness and all of your info ... well appreciated. We couldn't have asked for more ... Thanx for everything!!!
We had a great time
House was close enough to walk to/from Union station which was nice because we travelled by train. It was very clean and well stocked with linens, towels, dishes and other kitchen items that you often don't find in rental homes, there were even tissue boxes in just about every room. Beds were comfortable and a street parking pass was provided (without charge) for the part of our group who arrived by car. We had plenty of room for seven people in the house, the only place that felt cramped was the kitchen. We also appreciated that cleanup requirements for checkout are not as strict as other homes we have stayed at, it made the last morning there much more relaxing.
As far as location goes; It was about an $8.00 for an Uber/Lyft rideshare or a 30 minute walk to the Mall or Whitehouse. There are plenty of restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Metro is at Union Station which is a 15 minute walk as well. Street was what you would expect in the city, there was noise all night, but not excessive. We felt safe, but come from the city as well so your feelings may be different.
Unlike other places we have stayed there were not any books, board games or toys so if you have kids you may want to bring entertainment with you. But there is wifi, cable tv and a dvd player (you will need to bring your own dvd's.) I don't knock the house on this because we spent our time out seeing things and I brought a deck of cards which kept us entertained at night.
Home was a great value and the owner was very responsive leading up to the rental. I highly recommend staying here and if we ever have another group going up to DC again I'm going to look to stay here first,
