This charming and quaint downtown hideaway apartment is located on the second floor of a beautifully restored vintage 1880 Cape Cod style home.
This private flat that is accessed by a separate private entrance has a bedroom and full bath with jetted tub/shower and occupies the entire second level of this lovely home. It includes a fully equipped full size kitchen with a gas stove and full size refrigerator and freezer.
Relax with a good book in the living room or take a nap on the pillow top bed in the soothing bedroom.
After you relax, walk to town, where within two blocks you can enjoy great restaurants, a dessert shop, or some night life at Silo's Jazz Club or Downtown Joe's. In the morning walk to coffee and fresh baked treats at Sweetie Pies or enjoy a full breakfast at Alexis Baking Company. Come to Napa Cape and enjoy a wonderful Napa Valley experience.

Great hosts and we had everything we needed and felt very at home. It was nice and close to the downtown area and so cozy and inviting to come back to after a good day of site seeing. Everything was very clean and very well taken care of. Loved our stay.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to spend time in the Napa area. It is a nice 4-5 block walk from downtown Napa and many restaurants, wine tasting and shopping areas. We especially liked the ability to walk to the Wine Train and back after numerous glasses of wine. The apartment is very clean, quiet and well stocked with Linens, Towels and Kitchen Utensils. Everything worked great, even with the owner out of town.
It's so convenient to be able to walk just a few blocks to and from downtown. It removed all worry of transportation when wanting to have a good time in downtown Napa. There are several great options for food and drink in the area and even a little grocery store to quickly grab a few items if needed. The apartment is clean, cozy and well maintained. Will be our first option whenever we can find an excuse to repeat this vacation.
My husband and I just returned from visiting Napa and couldn't be happier with the choice we made when it came to where we stayed. The owner was actually outside and greeted us when we arrived. While the apartment is on the smaller size we found it perfect for the 2 of us. It was so close to main street Napa and we were able to walk into town for dinner every night. Would definitely stay there again!!
The yellow cape house certainly has curb appeal...like a storybook cottage complete with porch, roses and white picket fence. The upstairs rental is quiet and immaculate and comfortable for a couple. What makes this property special is that it is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the vibrant downtown. We hope to return to make more memories.
In the pictures, the apt. looks quaint, but in person it seemed a little "tired" and in need of some updating. Most of the furniture looked like it had been picked up at yard sales. A friend wondered if the stain on the arm of the oversized upholstered chair was wine, chocolate or blood. The windows had very nice, modern shades and would have looked better without the unattractive curtains, especially the sheer ones in the bathroom and living room that were stained and grey from age. There was an unpleasant smell as you came in and on stairs going up to the apt., maybe coming from the carpet... musty, moldy. Also the shower is challenging if you are tall because of the height of the shower head and the slop of the ceiling. Instead of "cute and quaint", I found it a bit depressing. The upside is the outside of the house is very attractive and it is in a very good location. It is much less expensive compared to other rentals in the area. Also, when I called to say there was an ironing board, but no iron, a replacement one was quickly supplied.

CANCELLATION POLICY If you cancel for any reason up to 30 days before arrival, 50% of your deposit will be kept unless re-booked by another renter for the same dates. Cancellations that are less than 30 days before arrival will be non-refundable unless re-booked by another renter for the same dates. The processing fee will be charged and is non-refundable for all cancellations. There will be a $100 cancellation fee if the home is re-booked.
There is a 2 night minimum on weekends at weekend rate. Weekly stays can begin/end on any day besides Saturday. 3 or 4 night minimum on holidays at high season weekend rate. 4% Processing fee on total. We accept Visa or MasterCard. Half of the rent will be charged at booking and the remaining rent, 12% tax, cleaning and processing fee are due 30 days before arrival.
