My husband and I live up the road from this cottage. We are always available if you need anything.
This cottage is on a dirt road in a very quiet setting. It is a 15 - 20 minute drive to North Adams or Shelburne Falls or Williamstown. Hiking and biking is just outside of your door. There are many outdoor adventures and cultural sights in the area. It is a great place to just sit and relax or grab and read a good book.
Less cost than a local hotel and you have your own private house. House is well equipped with most necessary items. Owners live just up the road and are available at all times to meet your every need.
What a peaceful place! So quiet, surrounded by state forest, with wonderful hiking opportunities right outside the door. The cabin was comfortable, with lots of little amenities that made it easy to settle right in. Valerie and Craig are great hosts and went out of their way to make us happy. If you want to get away from it all this is the place.
A comfortable, nicely maintained 2 bed home 10 min off the main road. The house has everything you could need and is centrally located for North Berkshire exploration. The owner, Valerie, stopped by to insure we had everything we needed. The only thing missing is wifi. Combine that with spotty cell service be prepared to be off the tech grid for your stay. We'd definitely stay here again when in the area.
The cottage is situated at the end of a long dirt road! It is well maintained on the inside & out! The owners, Valerie & Craig, met us shortly upon arrival! They were very nice and helpful! They checked on us a few times but we definitely maintained our privacy! There was a grill & outside deck which we enjoyed! The area is private and quiet! We were able to enjoy a peaceful getaway!
Valerie and Craig's home is lovely, quiet, and clean. They were so sweet - checking on us, bringing us fresh picked blueberries, and making sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this home for your relaxing getaway.
Valerie and Craig were so warm and welcoming and we had a wonderful time meeting and spending time with them. Their cottage was perfect. Coming from NYC we were looking for a peaceful retreat with non of the stresses of life in the big apple. Cottage had great space inside and outside for my dogs who were in heaven off leash. I highly recommend this getaway. We can't wait to return
My family stayed at the cottage the weekend of the 4th of July. We had an amazing time. The cottage was very clean and cozy. There are so many things to do in the area. The homeowners (Val & Craig) were so attentive and sweet. They even offered to find out if there were any fireworks displays going on nearby. The cottage is located in the perfect spot, so quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed a nice glass of wine on the deck in the evening looking up at all of the stars. We can't wait to go back!
