It's a great place to stay while visiting Berkeley. 6 blocks from UC campus, 5 blocks from "Gourmet Ghetto'" adjacent to Codonices Park, across street from Berkeley's Rose Garden, bus stop half block away. We are traveling from Wednesday to Monday and making the place available for that time. Two bedrooms will available for guests, washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen. The neighbor is safe and friendly.
My wife and I bought the house in 1997 just before out second son was born. It was a wreck and we gradually rebuilt it.
Randy Elliott purchased this house in 1997
The house is nestled in one of the last urban redwood groves existing. Dorothea Lange lived next door, it's right in what architecture buffs call "Maybeck Country". It's right across the street from the Berkeley Rose Garden, a jewel in itself.
Really close to campus. If you have a son or daughter at Cal, this is a chance to bring the holiday to them.
Our house is just up the street from the Berkeley Rose Garden. We are next to Coconices Park. We are at the hub of a network of walking paths going through Berkeley's architectural wonderland. The campus is 6 blocks downhill. We are about 5 blocks from Berkeley's famed gourmet ghetto.
