Enjoy the beautiful waters and meandering trails of the Intracoastal Waterway from our ground-floor condo at Tidelands 1917. Located in the exclusive, gated Tidelands complex, our luxurious condo is a wonderful "home base" for your Palm Coast vacation!
And when you stay at Tidelands 1917, you can enjoy all of the amenities of the Tidelands Estates. Spread over 80 acres of lush community grounds surrounded by water on three sides, this community includes a clubhouse with fitness center, and game room; large swimming pool and hot tubs; and so much more! The atmosphere is family-friendly, but some areas are designated for adults, giving you the best of both worlds. Walking trails wind through the grounds, as does the Palm Coast Waterway. And the coquina-shell beach is breathtaking!
But first you'll have to leave the condo, and that may be difficult once you settle into this comfortable, pleasant, beautifully appointed space. The first place you'll be attracted to is the lanai, a big screened-in room just off the great room. Sitting out here, you can play peekaboo with the Intracoastal (just beyond the greenery) and enjoy the balmy breezes. If you're so inclined, you'll find that your free wireless Internet service works well on the lanai, and the casual table makes a nice laptop stand. But you may prefer the company of a frosty drink and some good friends!
The lanai is the best place to watch the sunset over the Intracoastal, and once twilight turns to darkness, step indoors and enjoy the comforts of our living and dining area. Everything in here is airy and light, just right for tired golfers, sightseers, or beachcombers after a busy day!
Flop down onto the living room sofa (which converts into a bed for 2) and turn on the huge HDTV/DVD Player and enjoy your favorite TV shows or movies on the crisp sound system. A reading lamp invites you to dip into that beach novel you brought...and then lulls you to sleep within minutes, of course! Well, why not? You've got so many things to do and see here in Palm Coast, you need a little downtime whenever you can find it! And, for those with a lap top or mobile device, Tidelands 1917 has free, lightning-fast WiFi internet.
For the livelier members of your group, our gourmet kitchen and dining area offer the opportunity to concoct a delicious feast, engage in an evening of cards or board games, or simply enjoy reminiscences that begin over dinner and continue all evening. Our kitchen contains brand-new stainless-steel appliances, wooden cabinetry, a tiled floor, and granite countertops, plus the full complement of cookware, dishes, and utensils. It's tempting to give it a whirl...or, if you decline to cook while on vacation, just use the kitchen for its time-saving devices: microwave, ice and water in the fridge door, dishwasher, and more. Palm Coast has many outstanding restaurants!
The living, dining, and kitchen areas of Tidelands 1917 are open-plan, so you can see right through the lanai out to the grounds even when you're at the sink. This is great for keeping the group together. But for bedtime, you want quiet and privacy, and our 2 bedrooms guarantee you a comfortable night's rest.
The master suite is very generously proportioned, boasting a king-sized bed (heaven!), TV, cushioned reading chair, and big bright window. The master bath has his-and-her vanities, a walk-in shower, and smooth tiling. You will love the privacy and spaciousness of this suite.
The guest bedroom is cozy, with a queen-sized bed and a TV. It's convenient to the second bathroom, shared with the living area. This bath has a tub as well as a shower (perfect for small children who balk at taking a shower!), and all of the towels and linens for every bed and bath are waiting for you here. We also have a laundry room with washer and dryer for your use. All the comforts of home, but in a lovely new location!
You will fall in love with Tidelands 1917 and the entire Palm Coast area.
Hi! My name is Steve Milo and I started Vacation Rental Pros in 2006. Our family stays in vacation rental homes whenever we travel, both domestically and abroad! I own several vacation homes and listen carefully to all our guests' feedback. Our greatest compliment is when folks refer Vacation Rental Pros to their friends and relatives. We now manage over 1,800 properties in Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina. We have homes in Ft. Myers Beach, Orlando, St. Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra Beach, Hilton Head and Gatlinburg. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2016. Please call if you need help booking your dream vacation!
This condo needs new sheets and towels. not enough for 8 people.
We were very pleased with the kitchen, appliances, bathrooms, location, etc. What we were disappointed with were the qualities of the televisions and beds. We felt due to the quality of everything else, the beds were very uncomfortable and that there should have been flat screen tv's. Other than that, awesome time! Warmer weather next time? Wish you could control that.
We traveled with 3 Senior citizens ( 1 handicapped), and three teenagers. The development and the unit were very clean and in a good location( overlooking the lake). There is not much to do in the immediate area, but in a 1/2 hour you can be in St. Augustine or Daytona. The unit we stayed in(1123) was very well maintained and the kitchen was well equipt. When renting this unit for 8 people, take into consideration that the dining table is only large enough for 6 people, ( with 2 folding chairs) and there are 2 barstools at the counter- (not conducive to a family sit down dinner.) Also, the patio could have used more seating. Couches were uncomfortable for the Senior citizens so they spent their time in the dining room chairs. I also think for the price we paid, the unit/development should have beach chairs and umbrellas on site. We had to spend another $140 to rent chairs and an umbrella, as we flew in from out of state. Internet service was spotty at best. Also, beach is not Handicap accessible, ( at least not in the Condo area).
Other than these issues, the unit it very spacious and the setting is beautiful. Beach and Pool were very nice. Would have been nice to use the game room at night to keep the teens occupied.
JT's Restuarant and Flagler Fish Company had some great seafood!!!

Overall, we had a relaxing vacation!!!
While it was not during peak season [late December], the location was still ideal to enjoy much warmer weather than home! The condo was located in a very nice area and we enjoyed the pools and ocean very much while we were there. We also enjoyed sightseeing in St. Augustine and we took advantage of the discounted golf offered. The condo was great: clean, comfortable, plenty of room for everyone, close to shopping and restaurants. We also enjoyed the balcony - it was a great sunny place to sit and drink coffee in the morning, read, and enjoy the sunset in the evening. The only thing that we would suggest would be to upgrade the tvs in the bedrooms to a larger size. This was our first time staying in a condo and we absolutely would love to come back!
The only negative for me was the rock reef, as I found them with a big toe and I had a purple toe for several days.
Other vacation spots would find this place hard to beat. Our view over the lake included spotting a young alligator swimming about, which was delightful. The only change I would reccomend would be to issue more than one garage parking permit per unit, as there was a lot of unused space in the shade there.
