A wonderful place to stay with a very gracious host. I will be back!
The Artist Apartment was very pleased to host Jane for the 3rd time. In order to express our appreciation we offered her a gift certificate to the award winning Island House Restaurant, for her sincere patronage. I trust we will see her again as well as some other of our past guest soon. Indian Summer is perfect for a weekend getaway. Please contact me - Thanks Bob
Bob is an amazing host!
We never actually got to stay at this lovely place due to a lot of unforeseen events (think car accident and hospital visits). That said, the owner, Bob, went above and beyond to help us and to arrange for us to come back the next year. He is very patient and accommodating and we are looking forward to actually staying here in the future! Rent with confidence - Bob is the real deal and will make sure your vacation is perfect!
The apartment was great!!
Thanks for sharing your VRBO apartment from April 25th through April 29th with us. Two of my senior buddies and I came down to try our luck at flounder fishing in the Flounder Capital of the of the World. We were successful in catching some really nice flounder, some of which, we took to The Island House Restaurant and they cooked them for our dinner. Great meal, super fresh!!
Your apartment was very nicely outfitted with all anyone would need for a short or extended visit to Wachapreaque. Very comfortable, homey, neat and centrally located for all activities available in town and around the Eastern Shore area. Great place for a family retreat. You were such a gracious and helpful host when we ran into you around town. Enjoyed our stay and hope to be there next year around the same time frame. Thanks, Bob. Nick Warren.
Nick an his fishing buddies clearly had a good time. The highlight was they were able to get The Island House Restaurant to cook their catch of flounder the same day. One of the many joys our guest can have while staying in the Artist Apartment in our wonderful town of Wachapreague, Virginia. Hurry back for another great experience.
Quint, cozy but very spacious apartment downtown Wachapreague
I rented the apartment back in May when I knew we were coming out for the Ride the Waters Bike fest in October. We were so close to everything: the Island Restaurant, and the start/finish line. Dan met us in the late afternoon, as we snuck in, got the keys and then headed north to explore, before unloading all our gear. Next morning, we met Judy and Bob, who were so great in helping us store our bikes overnight in the kitchen of the art gallery. I slept great, well appointed kitchen and good shower/bath combo. The unit was a bit too big for us, but, we loved it and hope to return next year, hopefully, bringing more cycling friends along for the journey!
We had a delightful stay at the Artist Apartment in Wachapreague. The apartment was just as described and the hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! i would defenately recommend it.
Lovely and Well Maintained
Me, my mother, sister and our 3 kids spent 2 nights at this lovely apartment when we were in the area for the Pony Swim in Chincoteague. It is in a great location - in the middle of quaint Wachapreague - and fit all of us comfortably. We were very happy we found a place that could fit all 6 of us and was cheaper than getting 2 rooms at a hotel. The apartment is bright, clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for a nice stay. The only semi-negative would be that it is cooled by 3 window AC units (1 in the living room, 1 in each bedroom), which had a little trouble keeping up with the extreme heat during the day in the living area(super hot days outside), but at night we were plenty comfortable in the bedrooms. Overall, this is a great apartment, in a really cute/quaint location and I wish we would have had more time to spend in the area. I will definitely consider returning on future vacations in the area - such a cute apartment in the "Little City by the Sea". Thanks Bob! We really enjoyed it!!
