Not what's advertised and overpriced
Positives: Good wifi and heaters; Microwave, Stove, Refrigerator, and kitchen accessories ok; Decent deck and view for the right time of year (not so much in December); Beds ok; Felt safe once inside the apartment
Negatives: Dated and dirty ... floors, sofas, curtains stained with many floor tiles missing or loose; Dishes dirty with cooked past stuck to a pot; Pillows and towels are very old and not 'penthouse/luxury' quality by any means; No bathroom nor shower soap; No hand towels in bathrooms nor kitchen; Large hole in hallway upper wall ... appears to have been a plumbing repair and smells like it during morning and evening times; Doors to master bedroom and one of the bathrooms don't fully close; Curtains in living room don't open for panoramic view as shown in pictures (damage to curtains/rods); Neighborhood is not the best with dark alleys, numerous barking dogs, and limited/no parking; Not really close to anything ... need a car (or daily taxi service) if doing anything of a tourist nature
Bottom-line: Property needs a makeover ... deep cleaning; replacement of towels, bedding, linens; new curtains and possibly sofa; and repair work as suggested above

Positive: The apartment is big and spacious as shown in pictures. The view from the roof terrace is great. A/C was working and beds were good. It was easy to communicate with the owner before we got there. Location close to Old Jaffa is good, although the immediate neighborhood is somewhat "mixed". WIFI was working fine.
Negative: When we got there, tired after a long journey the apartment was dirty. Really dirty. The owner got hold of a cleaning lady. When we came back 4 hours later she was still working. She managed to get the apartment ok, but would have needed another 3-4 hours to get it to the "super luxury" standard the add is promising. We were 8 persons and needed two bathrooms, however only one shower had hot water. The bathroom with access from the living room had a door that could not be closed, it did not fit in the frame. A shelf in the kitchen was about to fall down. There was no "plug" for the kitchen sink (and no dishwasher). All these issues were raised with the owner during our stay, but apart from the initial cleaning nothing was fixed.
With a little more effort from the owner, the apartment would have been very decent and I would have given a 5. As it turned out we had a good vacation, but the apartment price was way too high for the actual standard.
