Our Condo Has A Ton Of Character - 12 Foot Ceilings, Skylight, Open Floor Plan

Top floor, 800 square ft, 1 bdrm apartment in secure building. Heated, indoor parking space included. Just off Washington Ave in Minneapolis' trendy North Loop. Historic building, 6 blocks to downtown, 1 block to Mississippi river and 5 blocks to Target Field.

Our condo has a ton of character - 12 foot ceilings, skylight and open floor plan with private bedroom. Original 1912 interior brick walls and beams with a nice view of Minneapolis. The second bed is an L shaped leather sectional designed to pull together for a queen size bed, with a custom quilted foam pad/mattress that is put on top of the leather couch. Very comfortable.

A full roster of digital cable channels are at your disposal, along with wireless internet access and Blue Ray DVD Player.

You will be on quiet residential street, with grocery, wine bar, comedy club and several restaurants within 2 blocks. Restaurants are plentiful and varied. The Mississippi River as well as walking and biking trails are within about 1 block away, and bikes can be rented from the city a block away also.

Please note: I do not accept long period reservations just as more than 10 days or a month etc. Please do not request such.

No parties.

Children can be ok, but you must discuss with us before booking. Our building has virtually no children and is quiet and we need to keep it that way if you stay with us. Also, we do not have a child proofed home, so you would be responsible for any breakage and your children's safety.

All guests 18+ must present their government issued photo ID at check in.

Admission to the property is only granted to those who release Host/Condo Owner, the Homeowners Association and other unit owners in building from any and all claims of liability, injury and/or loss. Use of the property and facilities is "at your own risk."

About JR

We just love the North Loop here in Minneapolis. From our condo we can easily walk to great dining, fun bars and clubs, comedy, museums as well as Target Center for concerts and basketball and Target Field to see baseball. We really love the crazy array of dive bars to wine bars, fine dining and seafood restaurants to award winning hamburgers all in the same neighborhood and we take advantage of it all regularly!

Why JR chose Minneapolis

This condo is in a 1912 era warehouse that was converted into housing. It is very unique, fun place to live and visit. The unit itself has 13 feet ceilings, a skylight, exposed original brick on the exterior walls with a view of downtown Minneapolis while still having a modern feel in the kitchen and bathroom. We have laundry on our floor, an elevator to access it and a heated indoor parking spot.

Wonderful downtown apartment!

This place was terrific: beautiful space, very quiet, great location for access to downtown Minneapolis. We didn't have a car, but having access to a secure indoor parking spot during the winter is an awesome perk. The hosts sent extremely detailed instructions on how to access the space, which we easily figured out even though it was after 2am and we were bleary from a long day of traveling. They also asked I let them know when we arrived, even though it would be late, so they'd know we made it in safely, and then texted me a couple of times to make sure everything was going ok. There are a number of great restaurants and coffee shops within a few blocks of the apartment, and the heart of downtown is just a bit further. We walked a lot, and also found it easy to access rides from Lyft or the city's light rail. I lived near downtown Minneapolis 15 years ago and this was a fantastic way to spend a few days getting reacquainted with my old haunts. Cheers to JR, and many thanks!

Perfect location/cozy loft

The location was perfect for what we needed in North Loop. Many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, yet the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet at night. The king bed was very comfortable and and the loft had everything to make our stay feel like home. JR responded quickly to our inquiries and questions and even checked in with us. Thanks for helping make our stay easy and relaxing!

Excellent condo and location!

Outstanding top floor condo in a secure building in the North loop. We were within walking distance to nearly everything in downtown Minneapolis...river walk, restaurants, breweries, wine bar, liquor store, grocery, comedy clubs, you name it! Easy check-in, secure indoor parking and the condo comes equipped with absolutely everything you need and more! Lots of natural light, comfortable furnishings and a huge king bed helped make our weekend fantastic! JR and his wife are the best and so easy to work with - we will definitely be back! Thanks again for the great experience!

Warehouse Loft Condo is a Great Stay!

This Loft Condo was a great choice for us. The owner was easy to work with and he met us at the door when we arrived. The location is easy to get to and the secured access, including the indoor underground parking, the quiet location and the walking/bike paths could not have been better.

The location, along the North Loop area, is great. The concert venue, shopping area, and a very good selection of restaurants were all within walking distance. The owner had a prepared selection of suggestions and reviews. The Twins' and the new Vikings' stadiums are both within easy walking distance if that is on your agenda. We did not have to use our car once to get anywhere we wanted to go except for one 20-mile side trip.

The condo itself was clean and very nicely furnished and decorated. It is a beautiful warehouse retro. A great king size bed ( a MUST for us!) An easy to use high quality multi-room sound system and a nice flat screen TV with DVD player. A small but well furnished kitchen.

We would definitely book again. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in a place like this?

Great condo and location!

This urban condo was perfect for a 4 night stay! In fact, we enjoyed Minneapolis and the North Loop so much that we wish we could have stayed longer. The condo was a quiet retreat at the end of busy days of sightseeing. It is very well decorated, maintained, and equipped. The owner even provides extras such as beverages, magazines, videos, and more. The parking garage is definitely an appreciated bonus! The location is perfect with lots of nearby restaurants, a riverwalk, Whole Foods grocery, and attractions such as the St. Anthony Falls. We would definitely recommend the condo to anyone visiting the Minneapolis area.

We are usually available anytime for assistance with anything. While using VRBO/HomeAway is accepted in Minneapolis, some neighbors in our building would prefer we dont rent our home out. We have never had any problems and would like to keep it that way, so please respect our home and neighbors, keep noise levels down and be discrete and if anyone in the elevator or common areas asks “where you live” just please say that you are visiting family or friends and do not mention that you are a guest using VRBO/HomeAway etc. They do not need to know more than that about who you are or your stay. People do keep to themselves in the building anyway, so it's doubtful the conversation will come up with neighbors anyway.
