Beautiful, large family home on a corner lot in a close-in city neighborhood. Downtown is only a couple of miles away, and there are restaurants within easy walking distance in every direction. Madrona shops and restaurants are a pleasant 15-20 minute walk to the north through quiet neighborhoods. Mt. Baker Ridge restaurants with spectacular views of downtown, the Sound, and Olympic Mountains are a scenic 15-20 minute walk south. And it's a peaceful 5-10 minute walk through the forests of Olmstead Legacy parks down to Lake Washington, where there are several waterfront restaurants, a Starbucks, and a grocery store.
On the main level, the house features a front porch, back deck (with gas BBQ -- no propane tanks to run out), office area, dining room, living room (with HD flat screen and fireplace), and large kitchen with modern appliances. There is also a half bath on this level.
Downstairs, there is a bedroom (with double bed), full bathroom, and family room with HD flat screen, video game consoles, wet bar, and large French doors to back yard and patio. The back yard and patio are spacious, peaceful, and great for entertaining or just relaxing.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a queen size bed, fireplace, and HD flat screen. The master bath has a walk-in closet, shower, deep soaking tub, and two sinks. There are also two additional bedrooms upstairs, each with a twin bed (one of the twin beds is a bunk bed requiring a climb -- an inflatable double bed can be placed in this room if needed). There is also an additional full bath upstairs, along with a laundry room with washer and dryer.
- Double size inflatable bed that can be setup on request for the 7th and 8th guest
- Easy off-street parking in the driveway for up to 2 cars
- Satellite TV
- Free Wi-Fi throughout the house
- Xbox 360 and Wii gaming consoles
- Portable firepit for backyard marshmallow roasting
- Steps away from hiking trails through large urban forests in Frink Park and Leschi Park
My wife and I have lived in Seattle for almost 20 years, and have lived in the Leschi neighborhood of Seattle for virtually the entire time. Our family loves traveling around the world, and always consider ourselves lucky to come home to such a beautiful city. We are looking forward to hosting visitors to our adopted hometown.
Brian purchased this house in 2002
The house was exactly as advertised, if anything, the pictures were too conservative. It is a large 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath, newer home, with very nice appliances. The family that ownes the house lives in it, as opposed to a house purchased for rental income. It was a very nice home in a nice neighborhood close to everything we needed for a family reunion involving seven people.
Brian was very accomondating in answering emails early on and allowing us to drop off some luggage early.
This was one of our best VRBO rentals! Thank you.
Thank Brian for allowing us to stay at his place. Its my 1st time using house renting service. What's a great experience. This house is very big, cozy and have all necessaries to make like our home from entertainments to kitchen to great location to all instructions that Brian left us. Great house and services. Thanks again.
Definitely recommend to anyone.
