Beautiful house and tavern

  • 5 of 5

I am delighted to be writing this review and would highly recommend the Historic Granite House in Waterford, Connecticut. The house had an immediate family atmosphere and the beautiful rooms are a perfect match to the elegance and charm of this beautifully restored home. The owner (Paul) provided excellent customer service and shared great historical perspectives. Guest rooms are spacious and well laid out with periodic furnishings and antiques. From a historical perspective what can I say that isn't already self evident. The tavern was a delight and served as a great watering hole. The courtyard and grounds were beautiful. Thanks for your hospitality and for making our family weekend such a memorable and meaningful experience.
