We had a wonderful time! I stayed with my husband, our three children, and my parents. There was a playroom full of toys and a backyard for my kids. My mom loved the big beautiful, clean kitchen. My dad took a walk to Starbucks every morning. And my husband and I were grateful for all the space - lots of little nooks to escape to read a book or check email. The house had lots of sunlight, was on a nice quiet street, and was walking distance to food and coffee. It was a good home base for all the downtown Toronto activities - CN tower, zoo, aquarium, etc. We'd definitely stay here again!

Beautifully presented, clean and with all the mod-cons needed to make our stay relaxing and easy. The hosts were very amenable and discreet. Nice location close to lots of facilities and transport links. A good base from which to explore Toronto.

Home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

We cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful home and wonderful hosts. Our stay was for four weeks over the summer and was the perfect Toronto base for our young family. Walking distance to great parks, shops and subway to the city. Quiet street yet only a few minutes walk to the bustling Danforth. The house itself was love at first sight. Air conditioned for the hot summer and great Wi-Fi. Playroom and outdoor play area for our two toddlers, large TV room with Apple TV and Netflix. Large master bedroom with beautiful bathroom. The kids room while small was perfect for my two toddlers and the third room perfect for another couple or child. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful and made our stay extra pleasant (thanks Gemma/Justin). I cannot speak highly enough of this house and hope we get the chance to stay again sometime!

Wonderful Family Experience

  • 5 of 5

We stumbled upon this property while searching for a place to stay on a recent trip to Toronto. What initially attracted us to it, was the charming character, many updates, and kid friendly atmosphere. We never imagined it would be the perfect fit for our trip. Coordinating with Gemma was a breeze mainly because her and Justin live just below the property. Parking along the street can be challenging at times, but we were able to coordinate with them and share the driveway among all of us, which really negated any parking issues. The house itself is fantastic, everything we needed was right at hand. The kids loved the ample and well stocked playroom, in fact arriving very late on our first night, it came in handy to keep the kids occupied while we settled in. The house is close to everything, but doesn't feel busy, it sits in a charming neighborhood, with parks, shops, restaurants, and transportation all within a short walk. We had everything we needed and more the entire time we were there. If we ever come back to Toronto this will be the place for us!

First class accommodation in Toronto

  • 5 of 5

Totally agree with the two previous reviews. Stunning , spacious property with beautiful decor and all modern appliances. Felt relaxed here and quite spoiled with the standard of the accommodation. The lovely living room had a huge Apple TV which was a big hit with the teenagers! It was very hot during our stay in Toronto ( by British standards anyway!) and we really appreciated having access to air conditioning in the property which we could control from an App on our phone ( kindly shared with us by the owners) when we were out- meaning a lovely cool house when we returned! The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be- purchasing groceries for us before we arrived and giving us hints and tips for things to do and best local restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood - the local Italian supermarket was one and we had a great BBQ with the chicken skewers we purchased from there. The house was literally five minutes walk from the tube station so transport into downtown Toronto was easy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and hope to come back in the future.
