With 30 years of property management experience in Dallas, I decided to diversify my portfolio and lifestyle, with a small investment asset group on St. Thomas in the USVI. My decision to invest in the USVI, starting in 2013, has been both challenging and interesting. My first 9 months was a bit torturous, even with being on island collectively more than four months. Navigating and managing the plethora of contractors and suppliers, each with their local flare, was the biggest challenge. Once engaged and encouraged, my island crew began and continues to deliver high marks for speed and service.

My approach to ownership and my guest experience is "Comfortable Elegance", providing high quality, functional and reliable residences at a competitive value. My reviews validate our personal commitment to a professionally managed experience, representative of the photos presented.

Why Lisa Benson chose St. Thomas

I love St. Thomas, it is my second home. The place is paradise, the people are wonderful and there is so much to do. I am an east end girl, as there is so much to do right nearby, and you can't match the beauty of Cowpet Beach. I pick CBW Condos because it is the effectively managed and well respected by owners, locals and visitors alike. The best part of this is place is being able to enjoy resort style living with the serenity of a private home. To me, and my guests, the place is just perfect!

What makes this condo unique

This ocean front home is crammed with advanced features! Starting with the central a/c and dehumidifier, Sonos Wi-Fi Hi-Fi integrated throughout the home. Finished with the best cookware, linens and guest support. The pool is just a short walk down the beach, just far enough to enjoy, but not be bothered by the noise when you are tired of the sun. Though Cowpet beach is fantastic and the cabana bar has great drinks and lunch, the Ritz Carlton is just 5 minutes away and they would love to entertain you for the day! The Red Hook Ferry to St. John is 10 minutes down the highway, so island hop your lunch. Be adventuresome and bring your passport to plan a daytrip the British Virgin Islands.

Condo was the perfect fit for two couples. Great location, very clean, everything we hoped for

This condo is in a great location, clean and very well maintaineded inside and out. The views from the balcony and the beach are stunning. Everything we needed for the beach, cooking and entertained was available and we enjoyed cooking on the gas grill. There was easy access for booking many different excursions and the ferry to St. John's. The town of Red Hooks is 2 minutes away and provides, fine food, bars, groceries and much more.

We highly recommend the condo and Lisa (owner) did a wonderful job of providing everything we needed. She responds to any request very quickly, yet allows complete privacy. We had and incredible vacation and we would rent from Lisa again if we every return to the area.

Excellent

This condo was elegant and at the same time extremely comfortable. There was nothing we needed to bring except our groceries. There was an abundance of amenities to keep us going and all were of a very high quality. The beds were perfect with an excellent choice of pillows for our use. It was just a short distance to the grocery store and anything we needed was there for us. We used Jeff to take us where we wanted to go, and he was a very amusing character, be sure and use him while you stay. We had a couple of minor problems, but all were taken care of within 5 to 10 minutes of our reporting them (now that was excellent service). We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo for others.

Fantastic Stay

Property is very nice and has all the items needed. Beautiful view from the deck. Kitchen is very well supplied. Plenty of beach towels and a convenient cooler for the beach. Owner is great to work with and very helpful with information. The grill tank was empty the first time we went to use it and Lisa had it filled within 90 minutes, very nice! For those 1st time St Thomas travelers, be aware that getting around is not real convenient unless you have a car. Red Hook is not very far but walking the road is just too dangerous. Would definitely stay there again. Stayed 1/9/17 thru 1/14/17.

Nice condo in a great location on St. Thomas

Our family of five with 3 teenagers really enjoyed this condo in Cowpet Bay West. The two bedroom setup worked great for us, and the view of the beach and bay from the balcony is beautiful. In the morning, we could see the sunrise from behind St. James island, and in the evening the balcony was shaded with the sun setting the other direction. The condo was clean and well maintained, and the owner was very responsive to our texts with questions about the condo and the islands. The beach area at Cowpet Bay is small but comfortable and quiet and a nice place to spend a relaxing day. It is a short walk from the condo with access to the Elysian pool and pool bar, Sangria's bar & restaurant and the Caribbean Fish Market Restaurant -- all right there next to the beach and the food & drinks were great. The location on the east end of St. Thomas was convenient for taking the car barge over to St. John for a day trip (beautiful and a must see) and close to the Ritz Carlton (enjoyed the Grand Palazzo Club restaurant next door to the Ritz with a bar overlooking the Bay). It's a short drive from the condo to Red Hook area and Sapphire Bay & Marina. We did a dinner cruise and snorkeling cruise on the New Horizon sailboat from Sapphire and both were great (thanks to Captain Wes, Anna and crew!). Would highly recommend this condo.

Lovely well appointed condo with a nice view in quiet area.

This condo is right on the water and a short walk to a small beach at the Elysian Resort. In the same area there were 2 restaurants to choose from. The area seemed very safe and very low key. We also walked over to The Ritz a couple of times for lunch. A great location if you want to stay in a quiet area with another option of a short drive to Red Hook for more action. Lisa was very helpful and quick to respond.

We enjoyed St. Thomas and Lisa's beautiful condo. The east end of the island was a very convenient area to be at. Close to the ferry and great restaurants. Grocery stores were close by for supply's. We enjoyed going over to St. John also. Mosquitos were a major problem on both islands. Couldn't get away from them even in the condo. I would highly recommend zip lining on St. Thomas. our favorite restaurant was The Old Farmhouse.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your comments! Yes, the exceptionally heavy fall rain has caused the mosquitoes to go crazy this year. But, it will get better as the winter trade winds pick up. Remember to get indoors once the sun hits the horizon and remain there until pitch dark, about 1-1.5 hours, and you will be fine. There is also plenty of bug spray in the condo. P.S. Just one aggressive female mosquito can bite numerous times, making it feel like a swarm!
