A Great Home

  • 5 of 5

Joy and Vincent's home is a perfect place to stay while visiting Calgary. The home is spacious and has everything you need. And most importantly it is very clean! We found the location to be perfect, very central and close to everything...There were 6 adults in our group and there was lots of room for everyone, without feeling cramped. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Calgary. Thanks again !

Great place & location!

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have been happier with our 3 night stay at the Charleswood Retreat! The house was as expected & very clean upon arrival. With us was my husband, 2 kids (age 2 & 4 months), my mom & grandma - great for all ages! Joy & Vincent were very accommodating with having things for the kids in the home - a life saver!

Location is great - very central & close to amenities. The crescent was also nice & quiet.

Will definitely be back! Mom & grandma are still talking about how much they loved that house!

Thanks again.

Perfect family short term stay

  • 4 of 5

We were originally booked to stay at the Delta for a short trip to Calgary. When a couple of the kids friends decided to join us for the weekend, suddenly the cost of the hotel doubled with the need for two rooms. VRBO saved is again! This home is clean had 4 queens to very comfortably fit 8 people and is well located for quick access to the U of C, shopping and Banff for skiing. Our hosts were extremely helpful and even had a Park pass they dropped off for us to use for our day at Sunshine Village. Will definitely stay again when in the city. My only negative comment was the bed in the basement (this was the adult room for us because it was separate from the 3 upstairs) was a bit soft for me and the pillows could use an upgrade. Kids were all happy with their rooms though. Great value! Can't be beat if u have 5 or more in your party.

Another great stay

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying here, and we'll be asking to book again in 2017 for sure. Clean, inviting, conveniently located, and the owners go the extra mile. We have young children and Joy&Vincent ensured that baby equipment was set up, and we stayed over Christmas so they had a little tree decorated..little things like that make all the difference. Love this place.

Great home for a family visit, lots of room.

  • 5 of 5

The home was welcoming, comfortable and very well setup including all the amenities you could want. We cooked most meals there for an extended family and everything was there. The open kitchen and living area upstairs was spacious and let everyone feel involved as we made crafts, cooked Christmas favourites and played games.

The downstairs provided another large area for living space and a large bedroom and bathroom.

The hosts seemed to have thought of everything, including a Christmas tree for us.

The location was central - near shopping, restaurants, the C-train and outdoor and indoor recreation options.

We all really enjoyed ourselves there (in spite of the cold weather) and thank Joy and Vincent very much!

Darlene, John and family.
