The home's ambiance is a blend of Balinese and Far East themes with an eclectic mix of zen-like elements, fountains, beautiful art, and sculptures. Floors of Moabi hardwood, vaulted ceilings, and restful hues on painted walls, offer a peaceful and stylish backdrop. With two Guest Suites, the accommodations offer solitude for two couples, a perfect set-up for visiting professionals, or a comfortable spot for a small family.
The Living Room features a fireplace and a wall of windows and sliding doors that open to the view deck spanning the length of the home. The seamless glass railing creates unobstructed expansive views from inside or on the deck. At night, the city lights below offer a spectacular light show that adds to the allure of this amazing property.
Create memorable meals in the fully equipped Kitchen with a multitude of tools and cookware that will make it a breeze to prepare even a fancy holiday meal. You won't mind doing the dishes - even the Kitchen window has a beautiful view of the sights below. Adjacent to the culinary hub, the custom dining table of onyx and glass suits the uncomplicated aesthetic.
Privacy is assured with the Master Suite upstairs, and the second Guest Suite downstairs, each with their own ambiance. The Master Suite offers vaulted ceilings and an imported "starry night" light fixture casting a romantic glow in this wonderful room. On warm nights, open the sliding door to the deck and feel the cool, coastal breezes. The Master Bathroom features a large walk-in shower of azure blue pebble tile, with 2 custom rectangular sinks perched in corner windows that frame the ocean view beyond.
Across the hall is a Sitting Room meant for quiet meditation with the Koi Pond and fountain offering a soothing water backdrop. Even the Hall Bathroom is unique with special touches like inlaid stone walls, glass tile, and ceramic bowl basins on a pedestal of tropical wood. Completing the main level of the home is an Office with desk and sliding doors to the back deck. The Laundry is also found here.
With doors from the Office, Sitting Room, and Kitchen, the lush back patio can be accessed. There is comfortable seating around a natural gas fire table and more great ocean views. Dining outside on the deck is provided and the grill master in the group will love having both a propane grill and smoker.
On the lower level is a spacious Media Room with a 60" flat screen TV and sectional couch. Cook up a batch of popcorn, gather around for movie night and enjoy the Hollywood movie posters that decorate the walls.
The second Guest Bedroom on this lower level is a lovely space featuring a queen-size bed, sitting area, and bar with refrigerated wine cooler. The walls are adorned with scenic photos of far away places - stop a moment to imagine the next dream vacation! A Hall Bathroom is between the Guest Bedroom and the Media Room.
There is much to do and see in Santa Barbara; guests can be downtown in 10 minutes or to coastal beaches in 15 minutes. Hop on Hwy 154 and take a drive up San Marcos Pass to wine country which is 30 minutes away. There are plenty of hiking trails in the vicinity, and the scenic Botanic Gardens are a short 5-minute drive from this hillside home.

7-Night minimum for all bookings made before Oct 1st.
3-Night minimum for current year bookings made after Oct 1st.
Christmas Weeks (Dec 19 - 26 & Dec 26 - Jan 2)
7-Night minimum (in the fixed weeks above) for all bookings made before Nov 1st.
3-Night minimum (and flexible dates) for current year bookings made after Nov 1st.
Stays of less than 30 nights are subject to a 10% Lodging Tax + $2/night Tourism Tax.
$325 Cleaning Fee (14+ night stays require additional cleaning fees), Booking Fee (varies based on reservation cost).
$1,000 security deposit refundable within 14 days of checkout. Deposit is reduced to $250 with purchase of Damage Waiver.
30+ night stays require extra security deposit, and do not qualify for the damage waiver program.

Wonderful! Was welcomed by the Paradise Retreats staff members and shown around your beautiful home. Perfect spot for our graduation weekend for our daughter. Made a point of spending more time here than normally at the rental due to its stunning views and comfort! Thank you for sharing!
