4 Bedroom 2 Bath Log Cabin With Propae Fireplace

This is a beautiful rental with a surprising low rate. Fri/Sat Weekend nights only $150 a night. Sleeps 12+ crib (4BR/2BA + play loft and large AZ room with mountain view) Pet friendly $50 flat rate per stay for your pet. Lowest cleaning fee for anything this size only $75. Temps down to a low of 20's at night and can snow anytime precipitation comes. There is even snow in December and April! Great place for Tucsonians since the travel time is the same as Flagstaff, and Pinetop and LESS than Payson.

Please Note: Holiday times excluded! We have a DIRECT VIEW of Escudilla Mountain. We are at mile marker 412 and within 2 miles of Nelson Reservoir and 5 miles from SIPE White Mountain Wildlife Area 1,362 acres! Museum and visitor center access is 1st road from cabin on left toward nelson. Less than .3 miles or marker 305 (2 access points). It's a must see! We are less than 30 min from Sunrise Ski Resort and 10 min from Alpine cross country skiing, tubing, and snowmobile trails at Williams Valley Recreation Area Forestry Road 249 on left off of hwy 180/191.

4 Bedroom/2 Bath, 1 Fireplace stove and outdoor fire ring. Nestled in the cool valley between Escudilla Mountain range (3rd highest mountain in AZ) and a rim wall behind property @ 7,500 ft. elevation along Apache National Forest 15 miles South of Springerville/Eager in Nutrioso. Fly fish for trout starts just 2 miles from the cabin at Nelson Reservoir. Cabin Sleeps 12 (1 cal king, 1 queen, 2 full, 2 twin bunk beds,1 twin non bunkbed, 1 pull out sofa sleeper + full size crib. Linen & towels furnished. WIFI, Blu-Ray dvd with about 50 movies, NetFlix, Directv, Fully Equipped Kitchen & Laundry room w/ washer & dryer, Cabin Decor (Trout, Elk, Wolf, & Bear Rm). Living room w/leather couch, recliner and love seat. Custom Kitchen Table Gas grill with 2nd backup propane tank & Fire ring. For the fishing enthusiast: fly tying table, a fishing rod holder inside & wader hanger outside. Dog friendly (up to 2 good dogs) For hunters: Excellent Elk & Turkey hunting w/ National Apache Forestry access directly across the street without any properties between to the Escudilla Mountain range. In greatroom, 49 inch Phillips flatscreen LCD HDTV with Blue Ray player, Free Netflix and Pandora. Direct TV choice . Lots of children toys and board games... including a full size Thomas the train play table.

Fire ring firewood (pine) Please bring or purchase at local convince stores in small bundles. We are unable to restock fire ring wood between all guest stays, but it may be collected in nearby National Forest for 'small camp fires for free'. When you arrive at cabin, and if it is too cold, please turn on propane fireplace stove and AZ room Propane wall unit. The stove switch is one the wall in the living room/great room to the garage which is not accessible for guest, but used for cleaning service and yard maintenance storage.

Fishing licenses can be purchased in Springerville and Alpine. Even in the winter, there is hold over trout at Nelson reservoir . They are the smarter ones that lasted thru the angler season, but if you catch one you are the master! A honey hole document for fishing hot spots will be sent with directions and cabin keyless entry code after payment is made in full a day prior to stay.

The TROUT STOCKING SCHEDULE starts in May and continues weekly through Sept in some streams and lakes. AZ Game and Fish Department sponsors this.

From Hwy 60, take a right onto hwy 180/191 South, for approx. 12 miles. W are approx 2 miles south of Nelson reservoir. Look for the Log Cabin with the Purple Roof! :)

Reminder: Please check outlets for any plugs, chargers, cords for your portable devises. 1 out of 4 guests leave one behind which we return as quickly as possible, but it still takes 2 weeks (start to finish).

Pets are conditionally allowed. Please inquire. Generally up to 2 good dogs are allowed for an additional fee. $50 one pet and $75 for 2. The large AZ room is a great place for dogs to hang out. We have one extra large kennel, medium kennel and small kennel plus 2 stainless bowls with a watering spout right in the AZ room with concrete floor.

Attractions: At the Williams Valley Ski Area fifteen kilometers of trails groomed for both diagonal striding and ski-skating wind through a picturesque area of evergreen forests and wide mountain meadows. Williams Valley is located 6 miles from Alpine along a forest road that is kept open except during and immediately after major winter storms. The elevation: 8,700 feet, so snow usually comes early and stays late. Because of the variety of terrains and conditions at Williams Valley both novices and more experienced skiers will find plenty to enjoy here.

Slopes are moderate to gentle and turns are gradual on these trails, which wind through the trees and across the broad meadows. Powder conditions persist through most of the winter. Trails are maintained through a joint effort of local merchants and the Alpine Ranger District.

Wonderful get away!

This was the perfect weekend getaway trip out of the city. Will definitely look at visiting again I’m the future. The cabin was more than spacious, well stocked, dog and kid friendly, and offered amazing views.

Our family felt right at home

This cabin has room for the whole family to sleep comfortably, toys for the kids, movies for cold nights. We had such a great weekend. This was our first time staying here, but it will not be the last!!

Amazing cabin!

Amazing cabin in beautiful location perfect for a big family! 2nd year in a row that we have stayed and definitely plan to stay again! They have everything you need to feel right at friendly and definitely kid friendly. Tons of toys that keeps the kiddos entertained for hours! Grocery shopping only 15 minutes away and sledding and skiing close by. My family cherishes the time spent here. Thanks for allowing us to visit!

Awesome stay

The only issue is lighting of the play area(beside the stairs n bear room) very poor lighting. Not suitable for kids to play as it's bad for eyes.

Nothing wrong with the house and anything u name it they have it.

Cozy Spacious Cabin

This was our second visit to this lovely place. The cabin is warm and inviting and accommodates a large a party while still providing privacy. Very comfortable, very well-stocked, and super kid and dog friendly! The owners are friendly, helpful, and quick to respond with any questions. Highly recommend!!

Nice cozy Cabin maybe a little too close to the highway.

My family and I had a great time at the cabin, it is very spacious and it's completely stocked with everything you need. Trying to find the cabin was the different story lol but go to mile marker 412 and look for the purple roof and you are there! I would love to come back when there snow on the ground, the sun porch is absolutely gorgeous and there's tons of toys for kids to play with.. It was an overall great experience for both our children iur friends and us, we will definitely be back! Thank you Charlie and Wendy 😁?

Nutrioso is at 7500 feet elevation, the wildlife in the area is incredible from the Majestic Elk to Mexican Wolves. Many neat places to Hike including some areas that have caves ! Will have info at the cabin for you on trail system! Fishing/Fly Fishing is also awesome. For those who are into Hunting, this is the place for you! Elk, Bear,Turkey, Grouse, Waterfowl, Deer... and much more! Incredible bird watching here as well... Overall, just a great place to get away from it all! Nelson Reservoir is 2 miles from cabin on same side of hwy. It is stocked by fish and game in the summer 20,000 trout. Yes, 20K.
