This Cottage Is The Back Half Of The Duplex That Is Closest To The Waterfront.

Charming cozy 1 bedroom 1 bath with deck and picnic table. Excellent for a couple to spend some quality time together. Or just right for the family that is just getting started. Literally only a few steps from where the grass ends and the sand begins on the 150 foot of beach. The most affordable cabin in the complex. A great place to disconnect and unwind from everything. The cottage is small but a good place to really get to know that special person you are spending the weekend with.

Very quiet and relaxing. No worries.

The owner is well matter of a person, also very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Everyone who checks in or out, are very kind, helpful, and giving people. The resort is very relaxing and quiet . A lot of bon fire. 😊👌🖒👏

Great relaxing get away!

The cabin was cozy, but clean with great amenities. My dog and I had a great stay enjoying the beach. Our neighbor's were great, as well, everyone was welcoming. Our host, Brian, was gracious and even lent me a corkscrew.

I'd give no stars, I only gave 2 because of beach and lakefront access.

We stayed in the one bedroom W a pull out sofa in liv room. the sofa bed was broken, couldn't use it. The place was absolutely filthy. Everything was "sticky". I had to wash any dishes I wanted to use befor using them. the coffee maker had bugs in the water reservoir n filter. The microwave worked when it wanted to, the fridge wasn't cold, cobwebs, dust, n leftover garbage nxt to couch from prior renters. Would not recommend to anyone!!!!

Owner's Response: As the owner, manager, maintenance and cleaning person (this is a one man show) of the Blue Sky Resort I was very concerned after reading this negative review, especially after consistently getting wonderful reviews. I take great pride in providing a pleasant experience for my guests. I find it very unfortunate that none of these issues were brought to my attention and that I did not have the opportunity to rectify anything that was amiss. I regularly check appliances to make sure they are working and I continually ask guests if everything is ok and encourage them to make me aware of anything that needs attention. No other guests have made me aware of any issues with the sleeper sofa, microwave, refrigerator or coffee pot in this cabin. If a microwave were not working AND I were aware of it, a quick trip to Walmart for a new microwave would efficiently resolve that issue. The refrigerator keeps ice in the freezer and I check them regularly to make sure they are cool. I can't imagine that there was "leftover garbage" next to the couch from prior renters as I clean the cabins myself and I have a routine that includes checking under the bed, in drawers etc. As for dust, the cabins do tend to get dusty as I prefer to keep the windows and doors opened up as much as possible even after cleaning. If you had made me aware that the cabin was not up to your standards I would have gladly refunded your deposit and you could have sought accommodation elsewhere.

Unit 5 is the back part of the building that is closest to the beach. Charming field stone exterior. Cozy 1 bedroom with double bed plus a pull out sofa sleeper. Excellent for a party of 2.
