Ideal vacation destination!

  • 5 of 5

Our family spent a week at this beautiful home on Oneida Lake. With four children ranging in ages from 2 to 16, the sandy beach and warm, shallow waters made it easy for everyone to take advantage of this beautiful lake. The property and beach were impeccable maintained and the house was picture perfect with wonderful amenities. Each evening was punctuated by a camp fire on the beach in front of some of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen.

Just a stone’s throw from Sylvan Beach, the location provides easy access to restaurants, ice cream shops, miniature golf, kayaking, and even an amusement park with arcade. All of which are children greatly enjoyed.

As for the owners, the love they have for their home is wonderfully expressed in their genuine desire for you to enjoy your stay. The level of care and attention to detail that they put forth makes the experience just that much more amazing!

Fabulous vacation home - We loved it !

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed here in August for a week and absolutely loved it. The home and property are quite beautiful. The owners are extremely nice/helpful and easy to work with. The house itself is so lovely/comfortable inside and the yard is spacious and so pretty. You will have just about everything that you need while you are there. We really liked having the covered porch with a swing and grill. We also appreciated the deck to entertain.

It was great to have a sandy beach right behind the house. The water was very warm, clean, and shallow which is perfect for children. It was a quiet neighborhood which we were grateful

for. We spent most of our time at the house with relatives who visited during the week. We did , however, get to Chittenango Falls and The Wild Animal Park. They were definitely worth seeing. I have to say that this was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations that I've ever had. This truly is an amazing location . The views are incredible and every night we saw a spectacular sunset. The weather was glorious every day. We really had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend it. We have stayed at many places and I have to say this is probably the nicest by far . Everything about it was just perfect . We definitely would like to vacation here again. It is like a slice of heaven on earth, a real paradise .

Sunset beach indeed

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was just terrific. Jay and Laura could not be nicer. The home was immaculate when we checked in. Just a beautiful location. Sunsets and waterside fires almost every night. Sandy and shallow walk into the water made watching our grandkids very easy and they had a blast. The convenient location made any day trips or runs for supplies really easy as well. We had family visiting almost every day and we never felt crowded. Overall we had a wonderful time and were extremely happy with choice.

Clean and Tidy!

  • 5 of 5

We recently returned from our stay at Sunset Beach. The property was immaculate and extremely comfortable for our family of three. We have family in the area who visited on occasion during our stay and the owners had several extra beach chairs and porch seating to accomodate for a sunset toast. The lake is shallow which allowed for our 4 year old son to walk out for days without much worry. It was a pleasure to be in upstate NY during the summer and a welcome escape from the Florida heat.

Wonderful Property

  • 5 of 5

After renting vacation homes for the last 10 years this property is a breath of fresh air. It comes exactly as advertised and is worth it's Exceptional 5 Star rating. Our family of 4 with 2 young children (5 & 3) had a great week. The beach is truly special in that it has soft sand and is very shallow for several hundred feet. The kids can play in the water and parents can relax knowing there's no deep water nearby. There's plenty to do in the area and we enjoyed Sylvan Beach's Pirate Festival, Amusement Park, and Concert at the Pavilion. We also had a great day at The Wild Animal Park in Chittenango. The rest of our time was spent building sand castles and playing in the lake. The back deck is a great place for meals and the bugs weren't bad at all for the end of July. If you like sunsets, you'll love it here in the evening. The house is in great condition and everything is like new. The owners, Jay & Laura, went the extra mile in providing kid friendly items like a Pack-N-Play and bed rails. All of the appliances we're in perfect working order and they have TV's with cable and some are smart TV's with Netflix for those rainy days. The WIFI worked great the whole week and there we're plenty of towels and extra blankets and pillows. They even provide you with beach towels which is great. There are air conditioners in the bedrooms upstairs and they worked just fine at keeping the downstairs comfortable as well. The lawn and flower gardens we're well maintained and the hose helped a lot for cleaning the kids off. We had visitors one night and slept 5 adults and 2 children comfortably with plenty of room. All of the neighbors we talked to we're very nice and the loudest noises all week we're the kids playing. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great relaxing vacation on the beach and definitely see ourselves coming back some day.
