The location is gorgeous and the house itself is very well taken care of. The private dock is very convenient and fun--perfect for boating or swimming. We were only there for 6 days, but the cabin definitely started to feel like home.
Cabin was spacious enough for the 8 of us with 3 small children. It is steep to get down to the lake with lots of stairs. Neighbors were very welcoming and nice. Lake is beautiful!!!!
The cabin was in good condition and was well cleaned. Frank brought us some firewood and made sure we had everything we needed for the weekend. We brought a boat and our RZR which both got used a ton throughout the weekend. Total we put 200 miles on the RZR with tons of trails that we never got to. The only real issue we had all weekend was when we wanted to light off a few fireworks at 8:30pm and the neighbor yelled out the window that it "wasn't the fourth of July". We realize it isn't but it is memorial day and we don't get to Wisconsin where it's legal very often. In addition when I say a few I mean really we only spent about $40 which isn't very much and it was very early because our kids usually go to bed at 8:30 (we were letting them stay up an extra half hour for fireworks). Either way we didn't go up to start problems with the neighbors so we saved them for another weekend. However if you're renting this cabin thinking it's in WI, know that fireworks are still probably not in the cards.
