Beds in one room was miserable so we had that couple go to a hotel in the middle of the night

  • 1 of 5

The house has potential but is not cared for. Window blinds broken. Door hanging off. Beds bad. Poor neighborhood. Won't be coming back.

Could have been better...

  • 2 of 5

My first thought in walking in is “This is a nice house, awesome!”

Then went into the kitchen, ants, everywhere. I texted the owner right away and then only response was “Thanks for the heads up about the ants”. After sitting on the couch in the living room one person had ants crawling on him. The bedroom that the kids slept in had ants in the bed. One of the girls had ants in her hair. With the response I got when I texted him about the ants in the kitchen, I didn’t bother texting him for the other areas of the house that had them. Or about the other problems with the house.

The house is in need of some major repairs. Closet door falls off the hinges when you open it, Furniture is very worn and dirty. The pool table is very old and unstable. Pool sticks are broken. Mattresses are old and lumpy. There were dead roaches in a couple of spots.

The keypad entry is great for some but hard to work for others, especially my 86 year old dad.

I wanted to love this place. I actually think that with updating, paint and new furniture it would be a great place to stay and one that was worth the money.

This is only my 2nd stay at a vacation home rental so maybe I expected too much.

very pleased with our stay

  • 5 of 5

We were there for a five day stay at the beginning of June for some sightseeing and family get together. There was eight in our group and this was absolutely perfect for us. It was roomy and spacious and not crowded. Plenty of bedroom space and area to relax. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was easily accessible and close to many things like Walmart, theatres, malls, and restaurants. Would definitely go back if we were in the area again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great place for couples or large families. Huge house. The pool table was much appreciated. Location near the freeway was very convenient.

Thanks for making my UNM Graduation weekend awesome

  • 5 of 5

I had 19 of my family members stay at this house for my graduation at UNM. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep, eat, play, and entertain themselves. It is an awesome space with a lot of amenities!

When we arrived, the house was immaculate with lots of towels, linens, and blankets available. My 19 family members stayed comfortably for four days. Not only did they stay there, but we had a graduation party and this house was an awesome entertainment space with a nice flow to the property for a nice open party. The pool table was a huge hit.

I highly recommend this place, it is in the middle of town, super close to the freeway, in a nice neighborhood in Albuquerque, and it's not far away from anything!

Note: beware of the neighbor's dog, some of my nieces and nephews who stayed here said the neighbor's dog kept jumping over the fence. So be careful.

Lots of space that needed lots of cleaning.

  • 3 of 5

I do not wish to offend so I hope the owner takes this as constructive criticism. We run a blue collar crew and have stayed in other homes before as well as all types of hotels. This home had lots of space and the pool table was a big draw for winding down after a long days work. Upon check in we noticed the home hadn't been completely cleaned. It felt like the beds had been made and things hurriedly put in place. The welcome book was hidden in the messy coffee table. The home just needs a deep cleaning which would help it to naturally smell better. We also noticed lots of leftover trash from the previous guests. There was trash in the front yard, in some of the rooms and upstairs. There were mounds of trash bags on the side of the house that looked like they had accumulated there over a couple of guest stays or a really big party. The mattresses are obviously older and needing updating as well. The bedding was all fine, the towels could be replaced. All in all the space worked for our large group. The place just needs a little work to bring out its character and shine. Fire the housekeeper and hire a crew to come in and work their magic, I promise it would be worth it!
