Recreation Center

Pool options abound at the resort: swimming, running around a spray park or just lounging in the sun! If you can find time to include exercise, two state of the art fitness centers with freestanding weight equipment

plus treadmills, stair steppers, stationary & recumbent bikes, and elliptical trainers are onsite so you never miss your workout!

Golf:

When it comes to golf in Central Oregon, challenge, variety and value are the order of the day here at Eagle Crest. With two championship courses (the Ridge and Resort courses) and our tough, new, 18-hole, par 63 Challenge course as well as our popular, 18-hole putting course, links lovers are never far from their favorite pastime.

And when you take to the fairways here at Eagle Crest, you’ll be playing on courses recognized as favorites among the regions top players. In fact, we’ve recently hosted both the 1999 Northwest Open and the 2006 Oregon Open.

Each of our courses wend through ancient juniper forests at the foot of the Cascade mountain range and feature sparkling lakes, beautifully tiered greens and emerald green fairways known for their immaculate landscaping and tournament ready conditions. Plus, with four tee boxes,

each course is well suited for players of all abilities.

What’s more, thanks to our lower elevation, we’re able to boast the longest quality golf season in all of Central Oregon with the Ridge Course kept open all winter long (except during rare, brief periods some years).

Trails

Enjoy 15 miles of hiking and biking trails that amble throughout the resort. Central Oregon is home to some of the best hiking, climbing and biking that Oregon has to offer. Climb Smith Rock, Mountain Bike near Sisters at Peterson Ridge (approximately 25 miles of mountain biking!), 50+ miles of paved trails around Sisters for spring/winter bikes rides, or hike in the Badlands, just 15 miles east of Bend, home to 1,000 year-old Juniper trees, unique wildlife, exceptional spring wildflowers, and incredible lava flow formations!

YAY For A Girl's Weekend Away!!

  • 5 of 5

A group of six women stayed in this home for two nights. We were sad it couldn't have been more!! We found the accommodations to be stellar! There were so many helpful items in the kitchen; crock pot, baking sheets, muffin pans, pots/pans, knives, plenty of dishes & even some spices! The beds were comfortable, the linnens ample, and the views incredible! We enjoyed deer watching from the gigantic bay window and loved playing cards around the huge table. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and are thankful to both Jeb & Jason for checking in on us and being such gracious hosts. I'm excited for the opportunity to rent again!!

Great for families

  • 5 of 5

The open floor plan for the kitchen, dining area, and living room is spacious and large enough for the number of adults staying in the house as well as for hosting dinners with guests. The kitchen island can serve as a buffet, and the kitchen is stocked with sufficient dishes and cooking ware.

The large windows of the main (second) floor make for comfortable surroundings during a winter stay. The downstairs sofa & TV area provide a separate and quiet space for a smaller group or for an individual.

Excited to return!

  • 5 of 5

Our trip consisted of 4 adults and 6 kids. There was more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and the house had everything we needed (even sleds!). We loved the two separate living spaces where adults could watch the game and the kids could watch a movie downstairs. Jason was quick to reply when we accidentally locked ourselves out, too! lol! The "under the stairs Harry Potter" room was a hit with the kids! Lots of toys! The large dining table made it cozy for meals with a place for everyone to sit. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful Home but Stressful Experience

  • 3 of 5

The property owner made this a 0 out 5 star experience but the house is beautiful so we are giving an overall rating of 3 out of 5 stars. Love the house but would never rent from this property owner again!!!

Positives

- Beautiful and well equipped home with resort amenities.

- Provided lit Christmas tree for the holiday season.

Negatives

- I expected stairs but it was my fault for not inquiring about the Master Suite “located on the main floor”. To be more accurate, the Master Suite is located on the same floor as the kitchen all of which is located 20+ steps up from the garage. This was not made clear in the description and proved to be a difficulty for several of our family members who have had knee surgery and find stairs painful.

- Inconsistent or nonexistent wifi for apple devices (wifi worked for non-apple users).

- When we arrived in the dark and freezing weather, we couldn’t turn on the thermostat. Called the owner who did not return my call. The house was freezing cold. It was fortunate that we showed up when we did else the pipes could have burst. Eventually, we needed to supply 3 of our own AAA batteries to make the thermostat work.

- For 3 weeks, I politely asked the property owner for check in information and he kept promising to deliver but did not. I made 4 separate phone calls to ask assistance from VRBO who had also sent multiple e-mails to the owner. Two days before arrival, VRBO sent him an e-mail explaining I wanted to cancel the reservations and only then did he send the check in information. This made for a very frustrating start to our vacation.

Owner's Response: Rhonda, We're very sorry that the experience you had was not to your liking. Unfortunately things like battery's dying (thermostat) and cold weather happen. As far as communication goes, it is a home owned by families and sometimes we do not always have the ability to respond immediately although we try to. Your check in information was sent well ahead of your arrival and not once in over 5 years has a guest not had check in information prior to arrival. We've rented this home out for over 5 years and take pride in the fact that our guests very rarely have had bad experiences (based on past guests reviews). Again we apologize for your bad experience and hope that you give us another chance in the future. Thank you

Beautiful House With All Of The Comforts Of Home

  • 5 of 5

We were a little worried about whether the house could handle all 14 of us at once, but it did beautifully. The house had all of the items we needed to prepare and serve meals. All of the beds were really comfortable, we all slept really well. The house is well maintained and very clean. We are looking forward to booking our next stay.

Beautiful Home!

  • 5 of 5

Nine girlfriends spent two nights. Plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms. Will keep the information and hope to return. We did notice a couple of maintence issues. Not knowing how often the owner goes to the house, I emailed the information to him. Great house!
